Stopping watering
    #26656592 - 05/08/20 04:19 AM (3 years, 8 months ago)

So I've got a couple shoeboxes with nice pretty pins in them.  From what I understand at a certain point I want to stop misting them, what is that point?

When it doesn't need to be misted is when you stop. You have to use your eyes and learn what a moist surface looks like

Do you still mist if there are pins or mushrooms already growing and the substrate doesn't have droplets of water? Read something about mushrooms rotting/aborting if there's water on them

Mushrooms like rain. You can and should directly mist cubes if they need it

sorry misting does not cause aborts. mushrooms love rain and humidity.

From what Ive seen, too much rain can damage shrooms, causing them to develop holes. Is this from rain or acid rain?
