 The volume of movies and TV shows piss me off...  6

When there's dialogue, you don't hear anything so you hve to rise the volume way up. Then, when there's action scenes or music it' superloud and you have to bring the volume way down. It is so fucking ANNOYING!
Why can't they even shit out?
I'm watching this Jackie Chan movie and it's the worse. Dialogues are whispers and action scene make my windows shake..
Anyone else noticed this?

I never had an issue. What grinds my gears are fuckin commercials! They are always like 2x the volume of the show! Drives me insane! Thats why i always have my right hand on the remote, cause at anytime those dumbass commercials come on, and try to blast me with their stupid-ass crap, i instantly hit the mute button. Or just fast forward if its recorded TV (highly recommended).
I usually set my TV to 7 or 8 volume level and only adjust it maybe a few times during a TV show 
Also, i should mention I have misophonia so loud, annoying sounds lime TV commercials drive me crazy. Superbowl commercials are chill thou

Some TVs have night mode that fixes the volume problem. It’s supposed to at least.

I remember seeing an infomercial that claimed it would adjust the volume of a show automatically. Not sure if it actually works but i think its worth investigating . Or just up your Remote Control game Patlal.

Get a good sound bar, most have decent ones have a setting that increases dialogue and normalizes the explosions etc to your volume.

That is actually supposed to be illegal in the US under an FCC rule, I don't think it gets enforced ir the penalties are too small to make a difference, likely both.

Prehaps Canada does nit have the same FCC rule therefore their programming is more variable? 
I heard about that FCC rule but i dont think its in effect. At least it doesnt seem so.

Some shows are mixed badly, but they need to adhere to FCC laws.
Back when I was a kid though, I remember commercials always blasting in 15+ db higher than the show we were watching. Im glad most of that is over
