There is a youtube channel called SRKcycles that I watch sometimes

Its basically a guy promoting the motorcycles he sells in his shop. But he tells about weird projects he does and he buys a couple of those ultra budget motorcycles just to see whats up



I think this will give you a good idea of what to expect



Picking my bike up today. So stoked

Weather is awesome, looking at 5 hour train ride and a 5 hour ride back on the backroads

$1,400! hmmm, I must’ve been mistaken and talking about a cheap ass dirt bike or worse then - or else I’ve got no clue what I was looking at for under 200.

Edit-  :blush:  I was looking at electric scooters from China back in the day, that’s it.  Not bikes.

Was it pretty uncomfortable? Hows the bike handle? Maybe the shocks are a little too stiff?

No the standard saddles often suck for distance. An upgraded gel type one really is necessary IMO.

Ive had a bicycle gel seat, love em. So much better than the stock seats.

I think they're trash, personally. It's like riding something that was made in 1950 and is only good a low-mid speed cruising and does nothing else well.

Not my cup of tea at all. I don't intend to ever ride one again, and I LOVE bikes.

They're the most overrated pieces of shit ever. They're about 5-10x overpriced than where they should be.

That CB looks nice. I bought a CB 1300 back in England - but the day I was going to pay for it - I had a run in with a Taxi and lost the front end on my CBR and smashed the engine case into a curb. So I had to cancel the sale unfortunately.

Shame, I always had a hardon for the old school CB's...

Those new ones are cool. Still air cooled. I wouldn't mind a 81-83 900F but they're pretty much all gone or turned to race/track bikes
