Any Ideas what this one is?

While sunbathing I noticed this growing in the grass - Are we not out of season for mushroom's growing?

Hard to tell without a picture of the underside, I'm guessing Psathyrella or something close.
It appears your mushroom also has been sunbathing, as it is obviously dried out, and thus more
difficult to identify.

Regarding seasons, it is true that we're not in the high season for gilled mushrooms. However there
is always a possibility to find them growing if the conditions are favourable, some species might grow
year round in that case, others are more confined to certain periods. Most of them are likely to grow
in the fall, while certain species favour spring and early summer.
