Tips / Tricks / Methods for triggering growth of the fruits? * 1
    #26654224 - 05/07/20 01:28 AM (4 years, 8 months ago)

So I'm doing a second flush and my 2 cakes are staying as they are for about few days now. Pins are there and no further growth has been noticed.

I read about some methods like putting in a fridge or leaving it on the fresh air for a couple of hours to trigger the grow, but couldn't remember what exactly it was.

I was advised to stop hydrating them and let them dry a bit. They were soaked for about 22h 3 days ago.

Any idea  ?

Cold is going to slow growth down.  More FAE should help

Nice work with the recovery. Those are very dry. I would also add more wet perlite. It helps with preventing cake dry-out.

Either works. The simplier method would be just to mist more often so your cake is moist (but not soaked/soggy).

Its the hardest part - I hydrate them too much or dry them too much.

I read about it a lot and think, that without practice there is no right answer to the above.

Still very confused. Don't even know how to ask.

Yup. Its one of the most difficult parts of mycelium and shroom growing: Goldilocks moisture (field capacity).

Not too wet, not too dry. Just Right.
