Help! Found these earlier and need help getting a good ID

Hi guys! Found these among the ground cover around a mulch pile about 15 feet from a creek. Picked them, and by the time i got home they were bruising blue! Any and all opinions wanted! Psilocybe ovoideocystidiata
I'd recommend cutting off the stem butts and using them to start more areas. It's best to use scissors when the season is just getting started (unless your specifically after stem butts), because there's lots of pins at the base of those clusters and using scissors will allow those to continue growing. This will make sure there's more fruits in a couple days if you venture back to that spot or for the next person that happens to go there.

I would expect much more bruising, try cutting one open with a knife and post a picture

This x2. Don’t rip out the dirt and mycelium from the ground, cut the big ones let the smaller ones grow. If you pick em like you did sometimes you kill the colony and you won’t find them there again
