First trip in 3 years - beginner again?

all right all right all right,
Its been years since i tripped on anything. Last time, 2017, I didn't have my head straight and came to face things I couldn't process at the time. Since then I've changed everything but my last name and thought wouldn't it be great to begin summer by getting lost in shrooms. (I was thinking LSD first, but it's impossible to score at my location due the current situation)
I've had couple of museum dose trips and enjoyed them very much. I also had one that made everything seem like heaven (this can't be described. I reckon you know how "heaven" feels like once you feel it. like you're in the place where you were before you became you, but forgot it over time) but never had strong hallucinations besides light breathing effect. I'm guessing my experiences limit to Levels 1 and 2.
So, my question would be; since it has been a while, could I head straight to level 2 even 3? Or does one descend back to beginner after X amount of time has passed.
Guess ultimately this is a subjective decision, but I'm happy to hear any takes on this.
cheers
edit; accidentally a word

I had several sub-breakthrough high school shroom experiences. Then I got to take a few hits of LSD, and weeks later three hits. Those two trips really influenced me and echoed in my bones up to this very day.
Now if you take years off, of course you'll be taken off guard a bit but that's the beauty of it. You'll get to take all these new life experiences, this fresh state of mind and completely turn it on its head. You'll get to explore this beautiful headspace, almost like the very few first times. You'll handle the experience well I have no doubt, but at times it will seem so new and so magical you will fear for your life. Enjoy it and proceed no regrets.

My first trip, with no experience in anything besides weed and alcohol, was 3.5g. It was between a level 3-4, waxing and waning between the two. To this day the greatest trip of my life. Completely novel, no expectations. I took a 2 year break after that experience. When I came back to mushrooms, I felt right at home, even though I had only taken them that one time. And now I'm in a dance of love with them for life. There may be breaks of various lengths here and there, but coming back will always be like finally coming home.
My advice, if you're in a place where you are comfortable to dive in, dive right in!
No need to backpedal unless you aren't comfortable with it. If that's the case, no problem! Ease yourself in by slowly raising your dose each trip.
Welcome back!

You can never know what your first mushroom trip will feel like until you actually experience it. That is a scientific fact
But as an experienced tripper, you still never really know what to expect, every single time you take mushrooms. You get more used to it, and your CALM reactions to whatever they throw at you do become easier. But it’s never easy, dude.
Whatever dose you do decide to go with, once those mushrooms start to kick in, the memories of certain aspects of your previous trips will come right back.
Enjoy. DJ Ed
