ID Request - North West Melbourne
    #26649797 - 05/05/20 05:38 AM (3 years, 8 months ago)

Habitat:
Growing besides a trail on some wood chips/mulch.

Gills:
White to brown in colour.

Stem:
About 70mm in length, diameter maybe 3-5mm.

Cap:
5-10mm diameter, brown.

Spore print color:
Dark Brown/Black

Bruising:
Didn't notice any bruising.

Unfortunately I used to have a Shroomery account back in 2008, but have totally forgotten the account details. So will need to start from scratch. Glad to be back on board!

The red capped ones are leratiomyces ceres. Can't tell you what the big brown is other than it's not active.

Try and lay them out side by side instead of one big mass when photographing. It helps for identification purposes.
