What time do you go to sleep?
How many hours of sleep do you get a night?
Do you feel like you get enough sleep?
Anybody have any good sleep stories? Maybe a funny sleep walking incident.
Feel free to post pictures in your PJ's or sexy lingerie stuff.

I have to get up at 9 (due to quarantine, I can wake up right before my morning conference call). Before quarantine, I would have to get up at 7:30-7:50 to make it on time with traffic, and I have always been going to bed at 1-3am.
Hell no I don't get enough sleep, I need like 10 hours to feel good, but there's so much music to discover and so much practicing I need to accomplish.

I generally go to bed around 5 am to 7 am at night, since i work late afternoon shifts and i'm a night tiger by nature. rawr!
i generally stake out about 8-10 hours sleep every night, and feel i get enough sleep for the most part - if i don't its usually because i only got 6-8 hours sleep that night and man do i feel it when that happens. people really don't put enough importance on sleep - remember people, you wouldn't skip a day without water or skip a day of meals normally, so why would you skimp on your sleep? it's even more important than food for your body! (unless you're really skinny in which case it might not be the case if you slept recently and havent eaten for a few days.)
as far as interesting sleep stories go, i'm currently trying to learn to lucid dream/astral project, though it's not going super successfully. i have had a few almost successful attempts, but the closest i've come is a halfway projection on accident and a feeling of suffocation ( a common side effect when first projecting out of body apparantly - you feel like you're being smothered as your projected body comes out of your physical one) and all i got was my left leg floating out of my body before i tried to shift my physical body to get a more comfortable breathing feeling and that snapped me out of it. the sensation of a phantom leg floating out of my body lasted a couple minutes though before it finally faded closer and closer to my physical location and corrected itself though lol. very weird.
been trying to take vitamin b6 recently since i hear it helps with dream recall. it does seem to be helping a bit with the recall, though only a bit. my calea Z is arriving tommorrow - i'll see if that does anything. i hear it's an amazing herb for dream vividness and recall, though it sometimes takes a few days to take full effect. we'll see how it goes - doing capsules since i hear it's horribly bitter. :P

Slept like shit last night. Around 4 hours I think. Went for the whisky at 3 to calm down. Probably should have just taken a shower. Sometimes there is something bothering me so that I just feel restless and fearful in the dark. In the morning I realised the cup of coffee late in the afternoon probably didn't help or the 2nd microdose of shrooms for the day. It probably stirred some things up in my mind.
Usually I sleep well, thank god. I just need to take better care of my sleep. Good thing I am working at home and have an easy day.

it aint the whisky (ok alcohol doesn't help - it's pretty bad for sleep quality) and it aint the cofefe, or the shroom microdose... well ok those probably didn't help either. REGARDLESS.
it's the neuroticism. the worrying. the sweating the small stuff. freaking out over "oh no i drank coffee in the afternoon did that mess up my sleep"? or worrying about things that you can't really deal with in the middle of the night anyways so why bother racking your brain about them?
the next time that happens? take an outsiders perspective on yourself, and look at how silly you're being. no really, look at you. you're worrying about such small things. you're being so silly. such a silly kitty. go ahead and laugh. don't feel like laughing? laugh anyways. it doesn't matter if you're forcing yourself - in fact, it's even better. you'll sound absolutely terrible and it will sound awful and you will laugh at how terrible you sound until your laughter sounds genuine, because my god you sound horrible.
and then when you have laughed for real, you will hopefully realize that your worries can wait for another day, that the world wont end because you're getting some rest, and you can face your problems much better with a well rested head.
if that fails to do the trick, you can also try losing yourself in a daydream - the more out of touch with reality, the better. im talking make yourself a wizard and go slay a dragon or befriend it and go flying around in another world kind of daydream here. get creative. have fun! you'll get so lost and use up so much brainpower on this that you won't have anything left for mundane worries and tucker yourself out to the point of real sleep. usually puts me out like a light within 15 minutes or less, although i've noticed eroticism tends to keep me awake longer. just something to bear in mind if sleep is the goal. :P

Early riser here. I'm up at 3:00 AM naturally, 7/365.
I take 2 2-30 min naps during the day, then I crash from 9:00 PM - 3:00 AM.

Wow, 3AM is super early.
Lately I've been going to sleep at about 11:30pm. Then I wake up about 6 time through out the night before finally waking up at about 8:30am or whenever my 1 year old starts screaming like a maniac. Once in a while I take a nap with him if I'm really feeling tired. I get enough hours of sleep, but still feel groggy when I wake up.
I had a friend who used to sleep walk and do the funniest things. One time he was sleep walking and was naked. He put on his work boots and nothing else and went out to his truck to go to work in the nude. Thankfully his mother in law caught him.
One other time he woke into a sleep walking state and thought his house was being broken into so he grabbed his girlfriend, who is a big gal, and stuffed her under the bed and told her to hide. Then he just went back to sleep.

I have to force myself to go to bed between 9-10pm. I should go to bed at 8:30pm because it seems like it takes me an hour or so to go to sleep.
How many hours of sleep do you get a night?
I strive for 7-9. I usually get about 7-8. I can sleep for 10 pretty easily which I do on the weekends.
Do you feel like you get enough sleep?
Not always, especially on work nights. I have to get up at 5:45am in order to have some time for breakfast and just not have to rush around and leave, I fucking hate that! That's why I get up that early. Plus I have to be at work at 7:30 and I like to be early.
Anybody have any good sleep stories? Maybe a funny sleep walking incident.
I have been having really wonderful dreams lately, very pleasant.
Feel free to post pictures in your PJ's or sexy lingerie stuff.
What PJ's? I sleep in the nude baby! I wear PJ's to work (scrubs).

Bruh. 3am isn't early, it's still night
Seriously though, i respect early risers. I'm more of a night owl and have to force myself to go to sleep. It's gotten harder to sleep right through the night as I've gotten older. I find some kind of vigorous exercise like running in the evening is usually the best way to ensure good sleep. That and passionflower+chamomile tea (good quality leaves, not tea bags). My sleep has been generally not so great recently due to lock down (can't go jogging). I'm so looking forward to feeling that "refreshed" feeling in the morning again after a proper nights rest.

I think I sleep well and usually not tired. I stay up late a lot when i dont have anything go do the next day. When I'm free from work, Ill work on projects till 7 in the morning. Ill think to my self "I've been up and busy for 25 hours straight and I feel good!"
I almost never wake up in the middle of the night once I'm out. Sometimes I'll go to sleep at 8pm and wake up at noon and just sleep like its pleasure. Other times I'll go a full year of griding work life of 6 hours of sleep every night doing 60 hours work per week. That's the most painfull for me, the feeling when my alarm goes off during those days feels like physical pain that erodes my soul. But once I'm out of bed and my clothes are on then the terrible pain subsides

Sleep is the number number one in my book of order of operations and of the higher priorities in my life. Eating comes 2nd. Sleeping well, and dreaming well are what enable me to be sane and natural.
Total Lucid dreams and OBE are a rare gift to those who learn to sleep skillfully.
It’s sexy to sleep good.

and most of it's pretty much crap and the old rules still apply - listen to your body (and mind) and do what makes it feel and look good.
some people need 7-8 hours sleep. some people like me need more like 9-10. probably because i'm constantly learning new things every day so i probably need the extra sleep time to process it. some people only need 4-6. they're lying. stay away from them, they're crazy and will probably kill you in your sleep one day due to mental health issues from sleep deprivation.
ok so there's a VERY rare person who actually only needs 4-6 hours of sleep a day, but it's a very rare genetic condition. most people who claim they don't need that much actually do and don't realize they're sleep deprived because they've gotten so used to being brain fogged.
if you feel you can't fall asleep during normal hours, that's fine. some people just aren't morning people. find a night job and embrace your inner vampire. your ancestors were probably night watch guards or something who saved a city from an stealth invasion.
...probably.
sleep in whatever position you find comfortable, and buy a pillow that supports that so you don't kill your neck and spine every night. don't freak out over the caffeine thing unless it causes issues, in which case freak out over the caffeine thing.
essentially, everyone's different, so just listen to your body and wing it from there. finding the best way to fall asleep is literally quite literally a snooze once you learn to listen to it's cues.

My body can't decide when it wants to sleep or wake with this quarantine thing going on. My schedule is all fucked up and won't even settle down into a reliable pattern. I try to go to bed at a reasonable hour, but I find myself unable to sleep, or waking up after only a couple of hours, everything is fucked sleep wise with me right now.
The older I get, the less sleep I find I need luckily. I probably get about 7 hours a night currently. I'd like to get more but my body just doesn't seem to be able to during the quarantine. I'm lucky if I get 7 hours right now. It sucks.
I can't even stay on a fucked up schedule right now, it's like totally random every day. My fucking body is being a total piece of shit right now god damn it, fuck you body

Day or night depending on if you're starting or finishing LOL .
I'm probably awake a good 16-17 hours a day total, with two workouts as well as an hour of skateboarding a day at the moment.
Give me the ability to get up at the same time each day > going to bed at the same time each day.

on prefered schedule go to sleep by 10 am (9 am even better; 8 am my night was really good likely) wake up by 6 (earlier depending on lay down) up until the next day at the same time try to do my voice therapy around 7 am and 7 pm
on messed schedule go to sleep by 2 pm; get up by 9 pm via alarm do voice training immediately, try to have a decent night and fix my shit the next morning
on destroyed schedule sleep when convenient, sleep as long as is applicable, sleep through alarms, sleep 12-15 hours per day for a few days until body gets back to a normal 7-8 do my voice therapy sometimes 2-4 hours apart just to make sure both sessions get done then try to get to prefered schedule, via staying up 24+ hours then waking to an alarm after 8 hours sleep when necessary
