Question about getting that check....

Curious if anyone else was in a similar situation..
I used the "Non-Filers" app/form thing to send my info to the IRS.
When I check on the status on the IRS website I get a message saying....
"Payment Status Not Available We are unable to provide the status of your payment right now because:
We don't have enough information yet (we're working on this), or You're not eligible for a payment."
I sent my info in like 4 or 5 days ago, I got a message saying they received it and it will be processed. But I have no way of knowing if it has been processed already or if I'm just not eligible .
Does anyone know how long it usually takes to process? Is it something that occurs within a few days or does it take weeks? I can imagine there is quite a "load" on the system at the moment but I also heard some folks were getting it within just a few days after sending in their info.
Otherwise I'm sitting around waiting wondering if they haven't processed my info yet, or if I'm just not eligible. Will I ever find out if it's one or the other or will I always see that message when I check on the status?
If they haven't processed it yet, then it should just say that...If it has been processed and I'm not eligible, then just say that...Why can't they just straight up say that it's one of those situations or the other?
I'm a somewhat smart dude and know my way around the "natural world", but taxes and all that sort of crap goes way over my head and I'm totally clueless about it.

From what I understand it is a waiting thing. Bureaucracy is a slow train to somewhere. My check was tossed around a bit, but it made it a few weeks later.
The whole system is backed up.

Filed your taxes if so when? And your does your economic situation and income meet the requirements for the stim check, and when did you apply for it? If you did the first 2 and it’s been confirmed via irs, and you only just applied for the check then it’s likely your going to have to wait for an indeterminable amount of time.
In some cases, like for later apps and those just turning in and doing taxes, I’ve heard there can be up to a few days to weeks to 2 months.

My gf is a non-filer as well, got hers in less than a week.
I'm self-employed and had to manually "apply" on the IRS site. My check was in my mailbox within 5 days.

That's what I've heard, that people are getting their check within just a few days.
It's been almost a week now and I'm still seeing this message....
"Payment Status Not Available We are unable to provide the status of your payment right now because:
We don't have enough information yet (we're working on this), or You're not eligible for a payment."
I just wish they could directly say that it's one situation or the other so I'm not left wondering what is going on.
If my info hasn't been processed yet, then why can't they just say that?
If my info has been processed and I'm not eligible, then why can't they just say that?
I hope it comes through...Getting that $ would literally be a life changing thing for me right now. I need to get my car fixed so I can get to work and get other things done, a mere $300 would completely change my life right now. I've been stuck in life and basically stuck in my house for several years now with no way to leave, since July 2017, and don't have anyone to ask for help...Getting that money would absolutely change and turn my life around in every way.
I'm used to things not happening and nothing ever working out in life so I'm not counting on it...but it'd be a total game changer for me.

Wish ya luck man,
I filled out and sent in the "non-filers" app/form thing a few days ago. (I'm assuming that's basically like my taxes/information?...It was an app/form for people that don't have to file taxes because they don't make much $ in a year....but again, I am absolutely 100% clueless when it comes to things like taxes, I'm a somewhat smart dude but I don't know how any of that stuff works at all).
From what I understand, from what I've read, I do meet the requirements for the stim check.
The day I filled out and sent that non-filers app/form, I got an e-mail just a couple hours later saying the IRS has received my info and that they will process it.
So now I'm just checking on the status of things once a day and only see the message
"Payment Status Not Available We are unable to provide the status of your payment right now because:
We don't have enough information yet (we're working on this), or You're not eligible for a payment."
I just wish they could say exactly what the situation is instead of saying it might be those two totally different situations...Seems like it'd be very simple for the "system" to differentiate between those two possibilities...And if I never get the check, then I'm left wondering what actually happened or why I never got it?
