Yeah, get more wide mouths. Regular mouths are a pain in da ass.
Looks like u made your PF mixture a bit too wet. If u have micropore tape on the inco holes, i would take it off to help dry out the cakes a little.

Makes me worry about my PTs in the BRF right now lol since I believe those to be the dirtiest.
It's highly unlikely you're going to kill all the myc. It doesn't just grow on the surface, it grows inside agar too.

Good looking out ya I think I messed that batch up field capacity wise so I'll take them off when I get home. The wide mouths I made came out much dryer I think in a good way. Could also be wet I was thinking cause I bought 2 bags of the red mill ground brf just cause it was cheap af and rice is hard to find rn lol brown rice atleast

7 days is a little early to be expecting them all to be knocked up and showing signs right lol. Oh and I live in a really dry area says its 29 percent humidity in my closet. But I live in a desert.

So when you are working with agar and you’re about to make a transfer, you just want to cut a little piece of agar with the leading edge of the myc on it. It looks like on your transfers you cut out the entire spot of growing myc which defeats the purpose because you’re just transferring the whole shebang to the new plate.

yeah I think I jumped the gun what you think is best to do with it ? remove the agar from the myc and transfer to a new plate again or just let it try to grow then transfer a small segment of the larger myc. Ill check that link out rn. Much appreciated

I tried the pastys no pour. I think the main problem was that I overfilled the PC think ill only do 8 at a time if i ever use these containers again but im gonna find smaller ones so it shouldn't be as much of an issue going forward. Its not like slanted ones will be useless right ? I overfilled them as it is because I made a half batch and they aren't as wide as normal plates. Have a 1000 ml media bottle and AGAR and LME on the way just need to order a shit ton of small containers. Also need to get a presto eventually. My PC is a insta pot and only gets to 12 psi so its more time consuming and i cant PC as much stuff as the bigger ones.
