P. Mexicana and P. Tampanensis on BRF cakes * 4
    #26645639 - 05/03/20 10:21 AM (3 years, 8 months ago)

Just wanted to share this with the community. I've been playing around with some of the sclerotia producing species and had some leftover spore solution laying around so I decided to knock up some BRF cakes and see how well they produced. After full colonization I let them consolidate for a week and then dunked for 24 hours. After the dunk I put them back in the jars and cased them with peat verm and sand. The Mexicana Jalisco pinned in just 5 days and the Tampanensis ATL7 in 10.
Jalisco:

ATL7:

I've found these fairly easy to fruit and highly recommend these to anyone who is looking to grow something new

Thanks! Sometime in the next couple weeks I will be spawning some colonized RGS to a mixture of compost, soil, and coir and fruiting them outside in flower pots. Curious to see how well these species do in my climate here in the midwest
