Hi, so basically I found a bunch of psilocybe subaeruginosa, and I've already confirmed a bunch of them to be real. However, a few of the ones I picked haven't bruised blue as much as the others did. (See photo below).
Group #1

Group #2

Habitat: Found in a woodchipped garden bed
Gills: A dark brown looking kind of color with slight purple-ish tinge on some.
Stem: White, some are noticeable hollow, kind of bruises blue but hard to tell.
Cap: Silky feeling when touched, strong caramel-colored top on most, some seem a bit more faded variant of the caramel color.
Bruising: Kina blue? can't tell.
General location: Eastern suburbs of Melbourne Victoria in a garden bed.

Welcome yo the shroomery. As psilosadhu said, it's hard to tell. Natural light is best for taking pictures. Spore prints help as well.

Hi guys, sorry for the bad photos. Most of them have bruised blue now and I took a spore print as well. All of them came out as a very dark purple color. Showed the spore prints to a mate whos more experienced than me in finding Subs and he said that that the prints match sub prints. Sorry for wasting yall time haha but cheers and thanks for the pointers! Was just wondering, I don't have access to a dehydrator atm because of quarantine, is there any other way I can preserve these guys fresh? Can I just stick them in a paper bag and in the fridge like regular mushrooms? Ik this is unrelated to the thread tittle but i just thought i would ask.

They certainly looked like subs 👍 You can store them in the fridge for a week or so. You don't need a dehydrator to dry them. A fan is usually sufficient. Add an electric heater if the humidity is high.
