Are these jars ready to birth?
    #26645053 - 05/03/20 02:34 AM (3 years, 8 months ago)

Greetings!
These jars were inoculated with MS cube agar roughly 19 days ago. There have shrunken a bit and grain can move freely inside the jar. However, they haven't shrunken anymore during the last 5 days, and nothing more is happening on the outside, it seems like all grains are surrounded by mycelium except for empty grains that I should have removed to start with. Are they ready to birth yet?

I suspected as much as it looks really weird. But this print, even on agar it started looking weird:

it started like this:

And now it looks like this:

But I feel lucky if this at all is mycelieum, which I think it is since it hasnt turned into an abnormal color, or smelled weird, or grown at a fast rate. But the shape is so crazy.

I was thinking of doing this:
  • using your bucket tek and then put it in a shoebox
  • if I get fruits: clone them on agar and start from scratch from there. Because the print is just giving me crazy stuff.

What do you think?

How mycelium looks on agar has a lot more to do with the agar recipe

But that second plate picture just looks wrong all together.

Plan makes sense
Also take backup prints

You're so right, because the first transfers from print I had an other agar recipe and I was getting this instead:

Are these jars 100%? Ready to birth, need to wait?
Thanks for the feedback
