Hey guys, I found this cluster this morning in the woods. Could I have an identification please? I think it's Laetiporus a.k.a. Chicken of the Woods.
Location: Georgia. 30 miles West of Atlanta.
Habitat: Growing around hardwoods and pine trees. Lots of fallen trees decaying. Probably growing out of woods underground. Found growing alone, and I couldn't find another one in the woods.
Date: Found today.

Certainly looks like Laetiporus sulphureus. Im unfamiliar with the genus and species, so definitely wait for someone else. Cool find nonetheless.

Thanks man. I've found one twice as big in Kentucky one time.
I'll probably wait for a TI, but is it safe to eat? I read that you have to cook them to kill the toxins, or some people are allergic to the toxins and proteins.

Easily the meatiest mushroom out there, with larger Chanterelle fruits coming a close second. Enjoy!
Those stems grow out on corrugated cardboard quite easily if I remember correctly For such a delicious mushroom this is a species that has very little information regarding cultivation, so you'd have to experiment past spawn production.
