Hi guys, first time poster. I've been trying to grow shrooms for quite some time now and i've managed to make clean grain spawn (wheat berries with GT LC).
I've spawned those monotubs on april 19th (Bod's bucket tek) , i layered the spawn and the sub into a garbage bag liner. But i'm somewhat worried as it's going a bit slow and i don't know if there's a problem or not with my tubs. For instance i've opened it one time in order to mist a bit as the top layer of the sub seemed a tiny bit dry and it smelled earthy and shroomy as we want it to be. I think it's taking a bit long and i just want your input on this.
I dialed in my tubs with pasty's micropore tape, 6 holes covered with mp tape. I messed up the leveling part also, it's quite visible. Temps in my room are around 20 °C, they get ambient light. I'm making this post so that i don't get impatient and f this up again.
Thank you

thats a little cold i think which will slow them down quite a lot, id try for more around 23 - 25 C for me its 75 to 80 F, i notice if its 70 or below they are way slower to colonize, my jars took around a month to colonize because i had my room at 20 c and below because i was drying some cannabis and temps cant go above that, now that the cannabis is dried i put my temps back up to 20 to 25 c and my monotub colonized in a little over a week. that could be one of your issues.

I can't monitor my temps in my room and it really depends on the outdoor temps ... It's been a bit colder this week but last week it was 25 or more outside and i had 23 °C in the room.
If it's only slowed because of the temps it's not big deal i can wait, i just want to know if there's any other problem i'm not seeing (it seems that there isn't hopefully).
And thanks for your answer, i'll post the pics next time i'm not familiar with posting here.
