Meloncholy and depressing songs. * 3
    #26643286 - 05/02/20 09:26 AM (3 years, 8 months ago)

Songs that are completely ruthless in their emotional impact.  Songs that leave you traumatized for a spell after listening to them.

Or songs that just put you in a meloncholy mood.

Let’s hear em.

Aw man, LP is one of my most nostalgic bands. I can barely listen to them anymore knowing Chester is gone  :cryariver:

This album (Hammock - Maybe They Will Sing For Us Tomorrow) was always my get-drunk-and-cry go to album. Worked like a charm.

Mad Season - River of Deceit

AIC - Don’t Follow

Mazzy Star - Fade Into You

Black Keys - You’re The One

STP - Interstate Love Song acoustic

Pink Floyd - Us and Them

Led Zeppelin - Bron-Yr-Aur

I always thought melancholy was like a dreamy slow slightly sad state like heroin or something but I guess by definition it’s just sadness so i guess these don’t really fit besides the first two and maybe interstate

There's one song by former underground satanic artist Moëvöt called Chant d'Eternité 1 that's a lament, and the most soul crushing song I know.

Oddly its stripped off all the main video sites.

1, not 2 or 3.

Heres something you dont hear every day:

This is my ultimate sad/depressing song to me, the Uber solipsism themesong (jk) - but it also picks me up at the same time.

Maybe I’ll sing In to Thanatos10, and in doing so woe him and end up happily married ever after. We could take long walks on the beach, make love in the mud like pigs, and have a holy child named Sebastian the Great.  Life is bootyfull  :datass:
