My monotub is bleeding! But feels healthy

Hey everyone. I have a strange situation. I am growing Thai Pink Buffalo, this monotub is from grain spawn of a previous successful grow. It's bird seed and coffee and the substrate is coco coir vermiculite and worm castings. It's bleeding red, but it smells like healthy mushroom. It's very spongey too the touch, but it looks pourous like pumus stone. Strange indeed! Any thoughts?
I'm attaching pictures, trying to figure out the shroomery's method. I uploaded them and got the BBCode, Im going to try to copy the links it gave me here and hopefully it will attach images.

I'm no expert but it doesn't look like any cube myc I've grown. Maybe the sub is mostly taken over by some other type of mushy smelling contam?
By grain spawn from a previous grow do you mean from g2g or you tried to reuse spent grain?

Yes I mean g2g. Im not sure my gut feeling is that it isnt bad. Im 12 days in since I made the tub, it smells overwhelmingly of fresh mushroom. I figured the Shroomery would find interest in it

That shit looks alien! Almost looks like reishi.
If you took a spent cake and transferred to new substrate you probably opened it up to a wide variety of pathogens. Could be myc, fighting off some invaders. But I'm just bullshitting here.

DUDE that is death incarnate in that tub. There is LESS than 0% chance of getting a single shroom off that odd mold covered sub. For your future grows and your health, get rid of that nasty ass thing. NO SHROOMS GROW LIKE THAT!!!!

Lol I came from reddit to do some digging about this but I am glad to see OP posted it. There are mixed opinions forming but the majority is saying Trash it. Interesting that there has barely been any cases like this, only one I found was from 07’

Bleeding Tooth Fungi. Hydnellum Peckii. Must have been some sporulating near by at the time. Bury in the garden and your plants will thank you.

Screening of an extract of Hydnellum peckii revealed the presence of an effective anticoagulant, named atromentin (2,5-dihydroxy-3,6-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)-1,4-benzoquinone), and similar in biological activity to the well-known anticoagulant heparin.[36] Atromentin also possesses antibacterial activity, inhibiting the enzyme enoyl-acyl carrier protein reductase (essential for the biosynthesis of fatty acids) in the bacteria Streptococcus pneumoniae.[37]
Cool stuff!

It's a fascinating fungi. I could be wrong, but based on OP and dealing with forrest invaders on a regular basis I'm confident of my diagnosis. OP notes shroomy smell conducive of fruiting. The bleeding is more typical from fruits, but under those conditions it can be fully mature and not fruit. I doubt it can sporulate like that so probably not a further contamination issue. A TI might know more in that department.
