Looks like a T. Pachoni to me with longer spines, but I lump all those trichocereus together...Someone smarter hopefully pops in.

Certainly a Trichocereus, likely pachanoi or peruvianus given the longer spines.

It really does look good to me has that blueish green color, seems to have the right amount of lobes.

All my cacti have such short spines, but I remember reading historically they had the longer spines (rarer specimen!)

Any tips for consumption and futher cultivation? Would like to grow more from this bad boy if possible.

I have yet to consume a cactus.

Easiest way to get more growth is to give it the old slice. Let it dry out for a few weeks and scab over. I love using rooting hormone on the sliced area. Once it's scabbed over I lay in cactus potting mix for a few weeks and very seldomly water til it develops roots.
