Lol, thank you all for your inputs. The necromancy stuff made me laugh. I looked up that bleeding tooth fungus mushroom and I can see why people say that but I didn't start this batch from a questionable syringe or spore print I made it from splitting grain spawn that previously made a succesful grow of Thai cubes.
My suspicion is that the combo of the worm castings and the COFFEE grounds I mixed with the bird seed is too much nutrients. A fella on Reddit informed me that mushrooms "Guttate" if there is an overabundance of nutrients.
"This is called guttation, a term used in botany to describe the process by which plants excrete excess water through drops from their leaves. For some mushrooms this is so common that it is a reliable identification feature, while for others it is virtually unknown."
As a precaution I'm going to move all my tubs to a different room and lysol everything but I gotta tell ya'll I know it looks weird but when I open the tub it doesnt smell foul, it smells overwhelmingly of fresh mushroom. Like how it smells when you pick a fresh cube fruit and smell the gills or cap. My gut tells me that everything is fine. I do have to dab the top with paper towels because the red koolaid liquid makes little lakes on top. If and when it fruits I'll take pics and spore prints and share on here, but I really don't think it is contaminated. You can see in the pic it looks like the mycelium vacuum sealed the trash liner to the cake making one solid rectangle I can easily pick up. No pooling on bottom its TIGHT.
I'm going to dig back to my reddit convo with this knowledgeable fella I spoke with about it -
"Your tub is experiencing guttation, a great sign of healthy growth. Its caused when the myc is growing quickly enough to push water it hasnt used outside for room. Generally it contains some metabolites from growth that block out mold and other fungal growth, depending on the mushroom"

Maybe spread some of that red liquid onto agar and see what happens.

That is a great idea.
Also case it with peat or coir to split the difference of over nutrition if you think it's just metabolites.

Could be guttation. The red might be something leaching from the sub. Iron from the worm castings maybe. Tea from the coir. That's pretty red though. I'm sticking to my diagnosis.
Random spores can come from anywhere. At any time. Regardless of procedures. I've seen oysters pop out of subs, enoki too among others. While the actives are fruiting lol. I don't work with spores on either of those edibles. Only culture. They would have had to come from prior grows or outside.
I agree. Culturing that could be a rabbit hole lol.

This is the perfect song for that sub.

Hahaha, you guys are too much with the song. I'll post updates as things progress. I have 8 tubs with this recipe so I hope it's not screwed like most are saying.

That is the most progressed tub so far but the second most progressed tub is starting to grow red around the perimeter. Strange that its around the perimeter is the strongest and the center takes longer to cultivate.
Here is a pic my lads

lol “everything’s cool I just have to soak up the blood lakes once in a while.”
That’s some crazy shit, I thought reishi looking at the first post but that’s just the only one I’ve seen that looks remotely like that.
I wonder if they named bleeding tooth after they knew it was an anticoagulant or if that was a coincidence.
Just googled pics of bleeding tooth, I think that’s gotta be it. Looks identical and yours even seems to be starting the lions mane type hairs in some spots. Also it says only young ones bleed.

I'm curious about the pasteurization process. More than one tub would indicate the sub as being the source if it is an invader. Someone at another forum was using worm compost and unknowingly growing cup fungus a ways back. I don't think they ever did figure it out but they were cup fungus fruits lol. Some of these forrest dwellers are pretty tough when it comes to heat.
