Sometimes warehouse factory jobs that hire without experience can be plentiful in many places and not bad since a lot of them work you over time pay and many have machinery in them that you can express interest in learning and sometimes they will get you doing more complicated things, operating more complex machinery or beign a production lead or whatever higher responsibility you show them you can handle and it can go up hill from there decently in terms of pay. These jobs are pretty easy to get

LEARN! Anything, everything... whatever you can. The old adage "knowledge is power" is my golden rule... I grew up around welding, my father did it as a career for over 30 years as well... but I can honestly say I've learned at least half of my knowledge from reading and youtube.

You gotta start something on the side to fill the gap in your resume
I started a few businesses myself, a webshop, online editor, translator, a few small things. The webshop was actually quite succesful and I ran that for a couple years
You learn so much by just doing something
I work in med-tech now (top management) and I had a 6 year gap in my resume where I studied philosophy (of all things) and worked a chill but dead-end job. Before that I worked as an engineer for a few years.
The company I work for now, and actually own a very small bit of, was looking for a Production Manager. Because of all the experience I could list from running the webshop I was the perfect candidate on paper and thats what landed me the job.
Now I hire people.
People with initiative always go on top of the pile. Do something, anything really

That seems like the perfect job to do with just a computer regardles of location
When I started my webshop I needed a logo and purchased some custom designs from a webbased company where graphic designers offered their services
Isnt there something like that for AV stuff?
If not perhaps you should start it yourself. You can literally have your own online business tomorrow offering just that. Start small, contact local businesses. Offer them something for free.
Probably not going to be your dream job at this big game company, but you need to start building on your credibility and experience.
Do you know any places where they could benefit from your sound designs?
Maybe it all fails. Learn from it, move on to the next thing. Only thing worst than failing is never trying
