What’s the best way to deep clean 1

I need to seriously cleanse my house of mold. I’ve had increasing amounts of contamination on plates but my main concern is my health.
I’ve been feeling halfway shitty for a while, a lot of low level headaches and fatigue, which I had attributed to my less than healthy lifestyle.
However with the increase in mold on my plates I’ve been reading about them and I’m pretty sure it’s a large part of why I haven’t felt great. I was going to get a diy mold test but while reading reviews realized they’re just Petri dishes with agar.
Anyway I finally looked up potentially dangerous molds on plates and have had a few of them, luckily the worst ones I can only recall having on a plate once but that means it’s around.
So I’m looking for advice from anybody who’s gone through something similar. Most of the stuff I’ve read says bleach isn’t actually super effective for this and borax is one of the best. The extent of my cleaning up until now has been spraying air cleaner around the SAB and iso on the carpet and occasionally walls around the SAB.
Based on the little I’ve read right now I think the plan is to spray the walls and carpet heavily with vinegar, let it dry and then pour baking soda over the carpet and then vacuum later.
Probably getting an air purifier also.
Definitely not fun realizing that weird looking contam you had a couple months back was a potential neurotoxin.

Sounds serious. I would start with a bug bomb. That's gotta help. Next move everything large out of the way. Then steam clean the entire place, top to bottom. Then dry with clean towels.

Yeah I’m getting a steam cleaner for the carpet from a friend tonight. I figure after the vinegar and baking soda a deep clean should be a good cap.

Air diffuser is a good idea. I would add some Lemon Oil to the mix, if you have.

You might be allergic to dust mites and they love carpets, mattresses and pillows. Also if youre getting mould, find the source and get some fresh air moving with a vent or 2.

Def the air purifier.
Costco has these, I run them in all my rooms. Even the lab to circulate air.

Is it an older house? Ever had leaking issues? Mold within the walls can be a serious pain and tough to get rid of.

Dude I have the exact same problem but the wife is super allergic. I will have her sniff my grow closer periodically to check for mold. She will get an instant headache if I have mold hiding in a tub.
That being said in my experience. Hepa filters don't work all that well, I own a Toranado heppa filter system for my sleeping area. Did a mold test with a plate bam. Spewing mold spores.
Check your showers and toilets and sinks. You probably have a leak in a wall. I found concrobium to be the best thing to tamp it down when you find the leak. Then sand and remove old patches because they can flush back after circulating humidity hits the area for a week.
I use a shark floor steamer to kill molds and dust particulate.
I run a dehumidifier constantly in my house.
We had a water leak in the bathroom shower 2 years ago. Tore apart the wall and replaced everything.
Then a leak under the bathroom sink.
Just did that one last week. Then I still smelled it coming out of the AC system and found another outbreak in the HE cloths washer I'm working on that today.
Fucking mold, but hardly ever get it in my plates.

The house is I think around 20 years old.
I’m in a desert so we get very little rain and humidity is usually 10-30%.
I’m assuming the problem is mostly in the grow room where tubs got mold and overtime it’s built up, I don’t run central air so luckily it’s not spreading that way although I’m sure it has no problem getting around.
I’ve never had an air purifier before, does it make a noticeable difference?
Looks like I could have one delivered within a week right now.

For a direct mold problem, no. But to passively scrub the air and clean airborne particles (cat/dog hair) yeah I can tell a difference.

This is why I don't have carpets in my house. Who thought it was a good idea to have your floors covered with microbiological breeding ground, wall to wall?
I'm a sort of a pig, but having a solid laminate floor makes it like a 30 min of work to get it all cleaned up.

Tile for us as we live on a Sub Tropical Island and the dampness along with high humidity is a pain in the ass..our homes are all block or stone as well.

Yeah I hate carpet too, I used to rent the house out and somebody put black carpet in the room I’m growing in now, who knows what horrors are in there.

Black light flash light on Amazon. Originally bought it to look for scorpions, but works on bacteria jars aswell.
