Hi all, back again for another ID request. I'm pretty sure I've... ovoided any confusion but just wanted to get some second opinions. Many thanks!
Habitat: Found in mixed/mostly deciduous forest. No more than 30 yards from a large stream in a floodplain. Grows on wood/bark fallen from a dead deciduous tree where ground is moist, but not soaking wet. Western Pennsylvania

Gills: Adnexed to notched and close. Color is grayish turning more black with age.

Stems: Anywhere from 2-6 cm in length, no more than 0.5 cm in diameter, bruising bluish green by my eyes, and is hollow. Rooting to equal with rhizomorphs.

Cap: Up to 3 or 4 cm in diameter, convex with knobs. Separable pellicle. Color is brownish, semi-translucent, becoming cloudy and whitish/tan with age.

Spore print color: I would say black.

All Look To Be Psilocybe Ovoideocystidiata To Me, Make Sure They All Bruise Blueish Where Injured/Damaged & Wait For A TI To Confirm. Nice Finds
Also, Those Prints Look To Be A Dark Brownish/Purpleish Color.

You Can See The Purplish Tones Better On The Foil Prints.

I am a tad bit red/green color blind so it's always tough for me to tell lol, but where the prints are smudged I can make out some of that purple now. Thanks for pointing that out! Stems are looking nice 'n blue!

Those are all ovoids. One identifying tendency that I find is not discussed nearly enough is the smell of ovoids. They do not smell like normal mushrooms or have that normal mushroomy smell. They have more of a dog piss type of smell that is pretty strong. Once you come across it, you will never forget it and it will never let you down. There are no deadly lookalikes that have this odor....maybe the only similar smelling mushroom is ps. cubensis.

I was thinking the same thing on my hike back. They do have a really distinct smell, brought back memories from last year's hunt
