MINI MONO TOO WET?

Hi all. Lets jump straight into this. First post and new user because after so much research it seems i still have not found an answer (i like).
Let me be honest, the reason i am failing currently is because i have failed to follow any tek completely through. But the best teacher is experience so even if nobody responds to this, i will gain enough experience to decide what to do on my next grows (like not falling asleep with the lid cracked anymore).
Currently i am fruiting my sub in a 16 Qt plastic container. Not too many teks on that. Pins were coming in quite beautifully, i even managed to harvest a couple fruits because they grew so fast.
Here is my problem. I cracked my lid a lot to let in some air because my surface was too wet and accidentally fell asleep with the lid cracked still. This allow my substrate to dry out overnight. A few of my pins started drying out (dying?). The edges were pulling away from sides of the container. After some research, i found out this can be saved if i properly rehydrate my sub! So I decided to drill a few holes (about 8 total with a 5/32 drill bit) in the bottom of the container so i can bottom water. I filled up another container of a similar size with water and put the container i am fruiting in inside allowing water to fill up inside without hurting the surface. After about a measly 30-45 minutes, i drained as best as i could through the holes i made. I taped the holes up using micropore tape. Essentially I considered this a version of bottom watering/dunking. Many people don't talk about this method. If they do i have missed it. After this, i waited a day and my pins were alive and well again. Flourishing i tell you. Today i wake up and now it looks like my pins have stalled again and maybe that the bottom of my sub is too wet. I removed the micropore tape from holes again to try and get more air flowing through and noticed some water was still sitting at the bottom underneath the sub and was pressed again the bottom. At first it looks like giant puddles, but when you move the sub a little, they are only droplets of water. Still, too much water. The water underneath is turning a golden/ brown color now. I was considering making some sort of fruiting chamber to put my sub in so the bottom can get enough air and dry out any excess water that still may be at the bottom of the container. I considered making more holes in the bottom of the container to try to get it to dry some more before covering them back up with the micropore tape. I considered just leaving the lid cracked again and letting it dry as i did before. Honestly, i may be ok and just a little nervous and paranoid, but nonetheless, advice never hurts.
What do you guys think?
Also let me just say i absolutely love the shroomery community. Thank you guys for being here and for dealing with all the recurring nonsense. Thank you guys for teaching me everything i know.
I can post a pic or link to a video if need be. The best part about this is learning. I may make a tek using 16qts after a little more experience.
Edit with Pics:
The sides are drying up a little more since allowing more FAE to pass through. Bigger pins are falling over, bruising etc. Smaller pins look to alive and well after bottom watering as mentioned before. Sub has pulled away from the sides. Puddle when sub is pressed up against the side from tilting and trying to release anymore water from inside. Surface is more dry around the middle and more moist towards the corner. I AM REALLY TRYING TO DIAL IN HERE!!!

I think it’s interesting how you decided to bottom water with that tub method. I would stop messing with it and just leave the lid flipped so that it can get some air flow and get hope it recovers without to many problems. Can you show some pictures?

Just edited original post with pics.
That was the only method i could think of without harming anything. After doing it I actually stumbled upon a post on here from 17 years ago and someone mentioned doing the exact same thing. He asked if anybody else tried it and how their results went but nobody actually replied with anything useful.
If i would transfer to some sort of FC i would actually consider that method as a way to pick up the whole thing without too much harming because it started to float up a little.

It looks like you're using an unmodded tub but using a different version than what's recommended. You have side pins because your surface conditions weren't optimal and they started to come up in optimal places. I'd recommend using a black liner when starting out which will allow your substrate to stick to it, as it grows and shrinks which will help with that and maintaining surface conditions.
Your mushrooms weren't dying from leaving the lid cracked, in fact they definitely want more fresh air. Things could of got dry but that can be corrected with misting. Using unmodded you will need to mist occasionally anyway.
The extra bottom water was not needed, your mushrooms are starving for air and you may have made the substrate a little too wet by now but you can probably save the rest of the pins, give them more air and a mist when things get dry
- it doesn't look that bad in there. Just do those 2 things and you should get a decent harvest

You're trying to babysit that thing too much. Shrooms are shy and need some privacy to grow.
