Have any of you looked into his stuff? It's incredible IMO.
Most people dont see it that way though, and i dont see why.. everyone says how the post-doors doors stuff blew, but shit, i love this guys music, and ive heard alot of it. The Golden Scarab record was pretty damn good, and it followed the same representation of mental process as The Dark Side of the Moon..

if i had more cash flow these day's i would defiantly check it out...

what all does he play on the albums? I'm sure he doesnt just stick to keyboard

it doesnt really sound like any keyboard most of the time.. some of his songs use none of his keyboard work, he does the vocals in almost all of them. Ive heard some violin I believe, and a hell of a lot of stuff i cant identify at all :\

I saw him maybe 12 or 13 years ago- it was cool because he was Ray Manzarek, ya know? But I haven't listened to him since- 'cept on doors stuff. Sounds interesting.

the golden scarab is good stuff.... thats the only solo stuff ive heard from ray though

sadly, i cannot

i once had a copy of the album written parts of the golden scarab but no more.. i found his music through mp3 format. IMO its useful because this stuff is v hard to find- amazon sells the golden scarab CD for 75 bucks! blah. Id buy the other CDs ( and i will in the coming months ) if i had the money, but as of right now..
