Are these San Pedro? * 2
    #26639558 - 04/30/20 05:36 PM (3 years, 8 months ago)

Will these do the trick?

It would be great if some more experienced with this plant could chime in. There's two pictures of each plant. I'm so confused by what I'm finding online. I just want to grow some, out of curiosity. I'm drawn to it somehow.

2 pics of each cactus. Thank you so much...

Definitely looks like the ones I have growing. Maybe a bit lighter green in the second sample.

@Feroxx Sorry, I'm a newbie to this... yes, for magic. Sooo... "non-PC Pach" is a good thing? What do you mean by "scop"?

Thanks for all your replies. But wait! One more question? If I chop off the top to harvest, what is the minimum length of the remaining plant I need to leave in order for it to continue to thrive?

I usually leave at least 8"+ on the stump when propagating. 8-12" is good for a strong cutting, so 8-12" is probably also good to leave on the plant to restore itself from.

Here is one I cut last year to make it easier to repot and transport. The second picture is from today. It had five pups on it but two were failed grafting attempts and I just cut them off. It has three pups now. I think the pot is 10-15 gallons.

Derp, first picture was my other plant, but they were both cut around the same time. Leave a good stump and it will have lots of stored resources to bounce back from.
