Sweet bro
I would wait still and let it finish colonizing before doing anything
Unless it shows signs of low fae

Low fae, Tub will be damp af and look sweaty. In a tub with no fae, musky humid warm tiny caps long stipes + sweaty

Wet and humid as fuck, myc on top might mat up a bit looking thicker, myc starting to climb into the air trying to colonize it, lots of moisture on the surface
I personally just like to keep fae low until i see pins developing then once theres a nice pinset and they start getting bigger i up the air a bit

Lol 12 qts, that’s awesome. Gonna be a canopy for sure.
Like somebody said earlier the main issue is the more surface area the tub has the quicker it’ll dry if you follow a recipe for a smaller tub and make it thinner.

That's 1 brick of coir in each tub and 12 qt spawn split between 2 tubs?
That surface depth is actually pretty good imo. I find the 54 with 1 brick and 2qt verm with 5qt spawn to be a little too thick.
It really depends on genetics and field capacity but i tend to get larger mushrooms with thinner subs. Im not sure why but perhaps the thicker sub holds moisture and once in a while a tub will grow 3-4" shorties.
My grow season is over. 5 monos left to fruit and then thats a wrap. Next season ill run some actual test tubs to back up my anecdotal assumptions but at the end of the day those 80s look great.

I never really had issues with side pins first flush
Ive never used a liner
Side pins arent really the end of the world
Better than no pins
Wish i didnt delete all my pics, ive had some pretty wicked cool side pin flushes
Really just makes it a bit of a pain harvesting

I use wbs, agar to grain or g2g, prep coir and verm as sub, spawn to shoeboxes
Usually split a brick of coir to about 6 boxes
Usually use 1-2 (closer to 1, sometimes 1.5) qt jars of spawn for each box
Split my sub to the boxes saving some sub for top layers
Let em ride out until they start pinning (unless something looks off)
Once it starts pinning i dub tub
Adjust gap for more or less fae depending on whats going on
Mist when needed depending on surface
I mist after full colonization if the surface isnt* beading. Dont need it much, once or twice a day or something if need be
I often bottom water a bit once my pinset is full and starts blossoming
Been known to mist the shit out of them if theres a dense forest growing prior to full growth and prior to caps starting to open
