Contaminated bag options

Fully colonized grain bag, about a silver dollar size light blue in each. Any options here? Plant outside mixed in soil? Or trash?
Anyone had luck with outdoor fruits coming? It’s 95% white but obviously not worth casing it to bulk.

Post a picture, light blue sounds like bruising, not contams.
You spawn to bulk, not case.

Dude never mind! Just turned the bags around. It’s dark!! And it’s bigger on the other side. It’s not nasty but it looks pretty dark on the other side and it’s fist size.

What do you mean by dark? Contaminated?
What did you inoculate with?

Sorry yeah definitely looks contaminated, dark dark blue. Used a spore syringe. Very sterile methods but again, bags are always a risk if not using agar, which I need to learn.

That is strange, I've never seen any blue mold before. Black yes. Honestly it's probably bruising. I could tell you with a photo...

I’ll get a pic to you soon, I mixed the bag up. Isn’t mold usually blue though? Started off very light blue and darkened. Now sure how it would be bruised though because I haven’t really touched the bag. One of the bags has some white fuzz all along the top, well it did before I mixed it up. We’ll see in a few days. But definitely blue and darker in some spots. Almost like the color of this sites background at its darkest.

Its always bad practice to go spore syringe straight to grain. Always use agar to clean up the spore syringe first.
That being said, u likely have bruising not mold but we need a close up pic to confirm.

I’m doing my due diligence now and researching how to do agar the easiest way for a new person. Videos welcome haha, doesn’t look terribly hard though.

No. Mushroom mold is typically green, forest green. They will often start out as white and crystalline looking, and can hide very well in grain spawn- it will usually turn green once you've spawned your substrate, because you are fruiting the mold - it sporulates and turns green. Occasionally it will turn green in the spawn.
Other types of mold are black but that is rare.
Bacteria spawn is different, usually looks makes the spawn look thick and creamy white

Interesting. There is hope then. Not black. But I did see some of the fuzzy clouds on top of the grain.
