How many of you floss?
And i dont mean like once a year i mean like every day. I barely remember to brush my teeth every day. Probably like 3x per week. I dont think ive ever flossed more than 1 day in a row, and probably 10 times in my life, and never in the past 5 years.
How important do you think flossing is? Do all countries find floasing equally inportant to dental hygine? Or is it just some fake conspiracy troll by the dentist community as a marketing ploy to sell floss
How often do you floss? Where are you from? What is your upbringing regarding the issue? If you did or didnt floss before, what has changed? And why? How is your teeth health? How bout those gums?
Serious question.

I floss several times a week, mostly after eating a bunch of chia seeds or flax. That said, we have some disposable "picks" - if you are gentle - they are strong enough to allow you to floss all of the teefs.
Flossing is good. The disposables (probably wasteful) are nice to have on hand in your car or whatever.

Yes its important to floss.. I also use the picks. I only brush once a day but since ive kicked alcohol im more prone to brush at night before bed instead of getting loaded and passing out.
I have white teeth but I have cavities, had a tooth shaved down and one pulled, all because i didnt floss enough. Im 28 male.
If I skip a day of flossing I can smell it, that bad breath smell and its not pleasant and guess what? Other people smell it when you talk to them, they just dont say anything but will judge you for it. Take cafe of yourself.
My trips go south when I look in the mirror and realize if i havent been taking care of myself. When im healthy and clean its all positive vibes bruh.
Start flossing and brushing at least once a day.

I floss every night.
Not even brushing your teeth every day is a good way to get a stank mouth that your co workers get grossed out by and talk about when you arent there.
I hope you atleast have a strong mint/breath strip in your mouth all the time. nasty mouths rank me the heck out, dude.
brushing 3 times a week and no flossing is gross. you need to atleast brush every day.

Im 29 and my teeth feel/look fine. I've had bad dental hygine habits for almost 10 years. I have had cavities, but never eat sweets tho.
My goal for now is to just get to the point where i brush my teeth consistently enough so that my gums dont bleed when i do.

Damn thanks for reminding me to brush my teeth. I fell out of the habit of brushing them ever I was a kid and some medication they put me on dried my mouth out, made me too lazy and gave me sugar cravings on top of my generally just unlucky genetics in that area. If you saw my xrays you'd think I were a farmer in Burkina Faso or some shit.

I floss every day. I didn't go to the dentist for 35 years, and all I needed was one crown and a regular (not deep) cleaning.
Flossing not only prevents gum disease and subsequent tooth loss, it's also one of the most significant measure to avoid heart disease.

How many of you floss? *raises hand*
How important do you think flossing is? Extremely important
Do all countries find floasing equally inportant to dental hygine? *buzzer goes off before I have time to answer*
Or is it just some fake conspiracy troll by the dentist community as a marketing ploy to sell floss? As much as I think everything is a racket, floss is necessary
Where are you from? Texas, U.S.Murica
What is your upbringing regarding the issue? Mother always told us to brush and floss
If you did or didnt floss before, what has changed? I didn't floss as much as I should have when I was younger but I can really tell a difference now that I do it on the regular
How is your teeth health? I need $12,000 - $14,000 worth of dental work
How bout those gums? They ah-ite
Now, I will use some of the same above questions to answer based on flossing as far as displaying swagger & pimpfrocentricness
How many of you floss? *raises hand*
How important do you think flossing is? It is my lifestyle
Or is it just some fake conspiracy troll by the dentist community as a marketing ploy to sell floss? One cannot buy floss, one must be floss
Where are you from? The Ghetto
What is your upbringing regarding the issue? Dad always told me to floss but also said pimpin' ain't easy
If you did or didnt floss before, what has changed? I didn't floss as much as I should have when I was younger but I can really tell a difference now that I do it on the regular
How is your teeth health? I hide them behind the platinum grill

I'm English, so I practically have bad teeth by default. That means I've dropped upwards for £20k into my mouth, and regularly practice dental hygeine.
I hate floss, but I use the picks often.

I have a phobia of those stupid little strings.
I had really bad gingivitis at one point and had to floss all the time. But my gums were so weak floss cut into my gums every time I barely touched them. And in the tighter teeth the floss would sometimes jam down and cut me pretty bad.
I mostly just try to brush extra well. If I think I'm getting a problem area I'll pick it or get one of the stick flossers in there.
Other than the stint with gingivitis causing some gum erosion my teeth are pretty damn good so far. Think your diet is probably a seriously under rated part of oral health.
Though I think if you have bad diet and bad oral care while your teeth are growing you're more likely to have problems no matter what you do. Though if you are prone to it going the extra step will definitely be a good idea.
I got gingivitis by not brushing my teeth, not eating... much of anything, and living in terrible conditions for a period of time. Would flossing have helped? Probably. Is not flossing the reason I got gum disease? mmmm no. Not exactly. I had literally nothing fighting the bacteria in my mouth.
These days I scrub them pretty good and use mouth rinse. Haven't had issues since (except still some erosion but not that bad.)

Floss twice a day. Sometimes I skip depending on what kind of night it is.
I think it is important to remove food sources for bacteria and remove acidic foods from dissolving your enamel over time.
Where am I from? Thats TMI.
I don't remember my up bringing regarding this.
I can't comment on what other countries think.

I try to floss every time I eat. If I don’t hold to that, I try and floss at least twice a day, or once if I’m uber lazy.
