Do you feel any differently about the iraq situation since the exposure of what has been happening in US run iraqi jails?

If you intended to vote for bush in the coming election has this situation changed your mind?

Not really. I always thought invading Iraq was a bad decision, and it looks more and more like I was right. As far as Duya goes, well, it makes me want to vote his sorry ass out of office that much more.

I'll vote when there is a worthy candidate running.roflmao And in that case Im going to be not voting for a long time.I mean when's the last time you saw a libertarian running for president let alone actually become president. lmao Although if I had to vote (which I dont)I'd still pick kerry over bush any day.

Actually, there have been Libertarian presidential candidates on the ballots in all fifty states for at least the last three presidential elections, I believe.

No, they didn't win. But neither did Nader or Perot or Buchanan. Third party presidential candidates don't do all that well as a rule.

No and no.

You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity. What one person receives without working for another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for that my dear friend is the beginning of the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it. ~ Adrian Rogers

Whoops-----double post....

I suppose i better answer the question, even if it drops my rating another shroom

It dosent effect my thoughts on the war or how im gonna vote.  Im sure that in every war there is abuse that goes on, but i dont think that negates the whole purpose of the war..

got logic?

how do the actions of a few people mean that the overall action was bad? If US soldiers abused a few Germans in WWII, would that give more reason for us to have not attacked? Why the hell do you think that Bush has anything to do witht his?

Your moniker made me think of the Russian "activities" to the Nazis at the end of WWII.

So, to whoever said that they disapprove of this war because of "abuse" and "torture", were the Russians wrong in taking part in WWII?

Well, it sort of confirmed my suspicion that most people that enlist are alcoholic jackasses. I wish we had different people representing us in the Middle East.
Still going to vote for Bush though, it's not his fault, and I would rather not have John Kerry kissing the ass of the UN.
