Fuck yeah it is.
I kinda got mesmerized by the water dripping down the tub the first few times.

That time lapse is rad! After seeing all the pics of L/APEU canopies, and especially the apeu ms flushes, I was expecting something similar. I grew a bunch of rando’s.

The cluster did really well once I grabbed the early boomers out of the tub. I grabbed a clone from the middle of the bunch.

And I’ll just dump these here too.
Going to work with this pheno for a little while, see if I can get the numbers up. Anyone else have these pop up?

You could clone/isolate and try to stabilize those chode looking APEU and re-name them under your own variety name if you wanted to.
That's pretty much what the TAT Syndicate is doing, and now they have a whole collective of cool new varieties that have been isolated just from Albino Golden Teacher phenotypes...

Right on! I have both swabbed and cloned these to try and further isolate. Seems like a slight revert to ape. Growth rate is slightly longer than the ‘standard’ looking apeu. Spawn to harvest on the chodes was 21 days. Haven’t checked potency yet. I’m not very familiar with PE varieties so I don’t have much to compare. I got my ass kicked from some Melmak I grew a few months back.

I don’t think ape is a part of apeu.. it’s an albino peu.. definitely got that PE gene tho and looks cool

Thanks for clarifying that Faht. I guess I was just assuming there based on the name and the very first pic on this thread. I saw there was an in depth discussion of lineage a few pages back, I don’t remember if it was on the lucy or albino’s. I will go back and read it tonight.

I just read over pages 20-21 in this thread about hamloaf vs. yesum APEU. Apparently it’s one of the same, the lucy threw the albino and bam! My mind is scrambled now but I got it. Alright, well now the real myco work starts for me, time to get my learning on about isolating and stabilizing.

I had this question answered a few pages back. They are isolates of Penis Envy Uncut...
LPEU = Leucistic (Penis Envy Uncut) APEU = Albino (Penis Envy Uncut)
APEU is an albino isolation of LPEU... LPEU is a leucistic isolation of PEU...

Apeu came from spores. I dont think it was an isolation. I believe after lpeu was taken to the next generation, that it grew out albino. Ive only seen it albino and i can swab under the cap to reproduce but there are no visible spores or spore drop whereas lpeu shoots out dark spores.

Spawning some Lpeu tomorrow, my apeu culture looks suspect. May fruit to a bag so I can get a clone and go from there.

What does the term "isolation" technically mean?
I was just using the word "isolation" as a broad term to describe that APEU came from LPEU...

I printed apeu to a jar and it looks like there’s nothing there until I flash a light at the exact right angle and a print glimmers into existence.. I almost opened the jar because I didn’t think it dropped.

thats how I ended up with the first gen of apeu Fat... germinated spores from a very light lpeu print, and it produced all abino fruits
