Straight to fruiting after spawning or wait for colonization?

Is it better to go straight into fruiting after spawning or wait for colonization before introducing fruiting conditions? I'm getting mixed answers.
Also, I would like someone to clear up what it means to go straight to fruiting. Based on what I know, the fruiting conditions are FAE, misting and evaporation of water, full colonization, and light. So after spawning, do we flip the lids (unmodified tek) and start fanning every once in awhile? Do we begin misting and leaving water droplets on top of the substrate even though the substrate is already at field capacity? Or do you usually leave the tub alone for the first few days since O2 levels are already high and CO2 haven't built up yet so no FAE needed and since the substrate is already at field capacity so misting isn't necessary also?
Is it a myth that there's higher risk of contamination for uncolonized substrate?

Hey buddy, I'm gonna dance around the entire first part of your question. I'm just as curious as you are in that aspect.
As for the uncolonized sub (please, anybody correct me if I'm inaccurate) it is my current understanding that uncolonized sub DEFINITELY has a greater risk of contaminating. The uncolonized portions present potential footholds for contams to start propagating.
I was taught that a healthy, functioning mycelial network generally has a good immune system to ward off contams as well the ability to find and utilize resources faster than competing organisms.

Fruiting conditions means whatever conditions you'll use for fruiting. Generally, if you did everything correctly, you shouldn't need any misting or fanning. However, in early grows, you might need to do some tweaks, because our houses are all different and because you might have your field capacity off by a little.
IDK about other bulk substrates, but coir generally doesn't contaminate unless your spawn was bad.
