Re: What's The Most Unexplainable Thing You've Ever Witnessed/Experienced? [Re: Loaded Shaman] * 1

Two things come to mind. I'm sure there are more than two, but since these two came to mind I will just focus on those and not try to remember others.

Honestly.  The more, well, I don't know if it is more unexplainable than the other-but, it implies something much more 'eerie' and harder to come to grips with. I don't talk about it because 1, everyone assumes I am just a junkie, jaded, brain dead hippie.  And 2, By the very nature of the experience, talking about it is essentially pointless/harmful.

I took two tabs of LSD. It was my first time, and after an hour of waiting for the first tab to kick in I took the second. I tripped so hard.  I hate even saying the dosage per tab that these tabs were said to be, because it always turns the thread into a debate between those who think its possible and those who studied LSD blotter applications professionally for 50 years. Anyways, they were said to be twice the strength of your average tabs.

Just explaining the overall trip in general is hard to attempt. But Essentially what happened was, I was shown the subjective nature of our experience as individual human beings. I was shown that the external world we perceive is always capable of communicating with us personally.  And I don't mean that we can gain insight from it, that is personal in nature, I mean, it can literally manipulate itself specifically for us while doing it in a way that if you were standing with a group of people they would never notice. This would make you feel crazy, or even psychotic, but the message would be real.  Now add to this the fact that we often do miscalculate and have crazy thoughts, which makes it harder for us to recognize when we are getting something genuine.
But yeah, just saying that, it automatically categorizes itself in the 'burnt out, deranged schizo hippy gone too far' category.  And as soon as I say it and I feel that, I just long to be able to one day meet someone who knows what I experienced, and also I long to be able to put it in words one day.

It's like we have a receptive place, or entity, or state to our awareness and for the most part we are completely unaware of it, or maybe, it is just entirely blinded by doubt and false impressions of the nature of reality.  Idk. But it might also have to do with how we live today. Because it is almost like a predatory state of awareness, where you know what you need for you and you alone, and the answers just come to you, through you, from the universe itself trying to help its creation.  And how we live, where we are tied up in emotional attachments at work, at home, with friends, with products we consume etc etc etc, we are rarely in the predatory state of mind, where we are primarily focused on ourselves and our immediate and long term physical/mental health/wealth.  so this connection, two way street between US and the universe isn't made.  We are on a 12 lane highway with the television, instagram, facebook, your girlfriend/boyfriend, the guy at work who you swear is gonna shoot the place up one day, your asshole boss, your parents, etc.

The receptive place in you that is capable to precision awareness of future, present, and past, able to analyze and make decisions that will land you exactly where you want/need to be based on the information, ---it's caught up in all the shit on that 12 lane highway.  And as a result, you think you are just living 'life'... you don't realize how all of your subtle thoughts are literally creating the world around you, dragging you into and through each moment. You live in a mess of your own making, and can't escape the messes of others.  I think LSD, for me, made me thing I was fucking dying, so I just became super receptive, the highway turned into an old dirt road, and this story we live in spoke to me.

But even after all that, it's still unexplainable. I constantly find myself wondering if I did fry something in my head, or if my feeling of there being something to it is legit. It usually parallels with the debate I constantly play out between there being a spirit realm and a primarily physical-material realm ruled by nothing above itself.

I even felt like spirits were watching me when I was LSD, and I thought I heard them whispering at one point. Crazy delusion made by my brain? Or some type of knowing allowed to be had by the connection formed via LSD? Either way, fucking unexplainable as fuck.

Last and least,
When I was like, 11-12, I was just starting to be left home alone when my parents would go somewhere.  I was sitting on the couch, which was about 7-10 feet away from the kitchen (open floor plan), and the kitchen table lifted itself up, all 4 legs kind of trembling against the floor before they actually lifted off of it, and then the whole thing just came back down.

Was like a half assed levitation you see in paranormal movies, like if two dudes just tried to make one on a budget and had a weak friend pull it up on fishing line.

I ran out of the house to my neighbors house and told them what happened. It was nuts. I remember being really scared. But, when I look back at my life it honestly makes sense that it would happen to me. A psychic told my mom later on that spirits follow me around.

Fuck. I'm stoned.

I actually used to enjoy it aha, I could always feel the paralysis coming on so I would just ease into it. I got good at it and the terror of demonic voices cackling and babbling became exciting to me. There were a few times when I opened my eyes to see the run-of-the-mill shadow figures that would disappear as you'd focus on them, there was only one time where I opened my eyes and saw a face on my bedroom wall that was staring at me with such a twisted smile that I never wanted to feel "Sleep Paralysis" again.

I fought back. I had become sick of the frequent disturbance in my sleep, so the next time it happened I fought for control. Mind you the first couple of times I experienced the paralysis I quickly came to believe it was impossible to resist. The difference was I was no longer amused by what I believed at this point were spirits trying to going into my body (Not sexually, more as a dwelling for them/vehicle to control).

There I was 16 years of age, paralyzed in my bed beginning to hear the always different and changing voices whispering and laughing. I began thinking of Jesus. Again and again I repeated his name in my mind, then I realized that I could think! So I kept thinking till I said in my head "The blood of Christ is against you." Boom, just like that I regained control of my body and sat up in bed (with some difficulty).

For a while after that it stopped happening entirely, though I have come to notice that when I am stressed by life I encounter those spirits at the end of bed. However they torment me no longer. I can sense the tingling sensation in my body before it turns into full blown paralysis, I react with fierce energy. I have had times now where I was dozing off and I felt the presence of a spirit and I literally sprung forward out of my bed with my right hand out in front of me channeling all my energy into a powerful "NO". Legit slept like a baby after aha

dude.  this reminds me of sleeping as a kid. I never had paralysis but something about reading this made me remember an instinctual fight in the night as the kid... an internal yelling or scream formed as a weapon. probably what precedes the actual vocal screams of children at night.  They are running from/fighting against demons/spirits.  We only perceive them as being crying scared children but they are souls traveling further away from home into this earthly reality.

So far, I think just about everything in the thread has some reasonable explanation/atleast partially , but they are all damn awesome regardless. Anyways that not what the thread is for.  So here some more!

Having lucid dreams weekly, and out of body experiences every other month when growing as a child.

experientially they are unbelievable as they occur.  All absolutely incredible fantastic supra-mundane experiences a human can have sober.  A fully lucid dream with full control will blow your mind and is infinitely more powerful than the psychedelic experience - virtually letting one have their cake and eat it too,  the source is available via lucid dream, so is anything one can put their mind to - even if it goes against all the natural laws that bind us in waking life,  a true genie or wish fulfilling gem/tree (ones own mind).

Not uncommon at all. Moses saw and spoke to God in the form of a burning bush. He was then given instructions to bring people the ten commandments. People thought he was crazy and instead started worshiping a golden calf statue. Life's crazy like that. Life itself is unexplainable. Ever since the beginning of time. Or maybe just the beginning of your life time...

How to invoke lucid dreams intentionally... That's an even harder thing to explain. Usually happens randomly for me. But yes, they are amazing experiences that I can't comprehend.

It's really... quite, difficult. It makes my life difficult. I feel even to this day, and I did long before this experience, an urging to go my own way.  To listen to 'myself'. And as I got older, it became harder and harder because it was sort of like the demands got riskier and riskier.  Less acceptable.  I guess this is the fight against one's own society/culture.  But anyone I have told about this experience they either look at me like I am schizophrenic, and I feel embarrassed and question my sanity.  OR, I see them turn inwards for a brief moment in which I assume they are calculating their own damages caused by living a life on the terms of the doubt that they allow to rule over their 'inner voice'...and having another human suggest that they took LSD and it confirmed for them that we do have a personal connective ability with an intelligence that can reach through the medium of reality to communicate with us personally...it automatically shocks them into that inward state.

Idk.  Yeah. Since the beginning of my life time. But, "I'm reaching up and reaching out, I'm reaching for the random or what ever will bewilder me" Maybe I'll figure it out one day.

Both just brain activity, out of body experience isn't really anything leaving the body.

In fact most of the stuff on here can be attributed to brain activity.

Actually 100% can because we use our brains to interpret reality first and foremost. Our consciousness is our personal reality. Especially true for Schizophrenics.

Most unexplainable thing I ever experienced is pretty mundane but it blew my mind like it was a reality trick being played

My brother and I walking to a sandwich shop we were talking about a really old friend handnt seen him in many years. We walk up to open the door of the sandwich shop and the years ago friend we were talking about right at that moment pops out of the sandwich shop in front of us and he exclaims SPEAK OF THE DEVIL! As if he was thinking / talking about us

I was shocked couldn't stop thinking that moment reality was rigged somehow to prank me

I know, but it’s irrelevant to this thread, the experience itself is magical.  Lucid dreams allow one to play god.  It’s fun. Mankind is lucky to have such treasures.

Not my story personally but the guy that told me swears by it.

He was in the army. Got shot. Dying. He starts hovering above the ground. Higher and higher, he see's his dying body laying there on the floor with other people around him trying to revive him. The medics do something to help him and his spirit then returns to his body.

Another story. My grandma is in the hospital. About to die. She's weak and slips into an unconscious state. In this realm, she see's her relatives that have died in the past gathered. They greet her and tell her to sit down and stay awhile to have some food with them. She was about to sit down when she feels the sudden urge to leave. At that point she regains consciousness in a hospital bed. Said she felt as if she were to stay and eat with them she may have died in our waking world.

When I was a child, probably around 10 years old, my father owned a shop in which we lived upstairs above.  Well one night my father says to us children... " who ever wakes me up the next day at a 6am will get a Michael Jackson wallet".  My brothers and I all said to each other that we were the ones who was going to wake him up to win the prize, and with that we all went to sleep.

Anyway, many hours later I found myself laying in my bed just looking at the ceiling when suddenly I heard a voice.  It was saying my name over and over, but it was soft and gentle.  As I lay there,
the voice started to get louder and angrier, so much so that in the end it was yelling my name to me!!!!!

I immediately got up and woke my father, and you wouldn't believe it, it was the exact time he wanted to be woken up!!!

I remember this like as if it happened yesterday
