How it works:
Gardeners list crops they have in excess Users request produce If there are gardeners in your area that have too much, you are able to chat Pick up produce at a location specified by the Gardener
www.plenti.dev

Over 60, and a lot of them on all counts. most of the people in my extended family are super unhealthy.
my sister and I are basically the exceptions. i lift weights and she teaches an exercise class and we are both really in shape. so im not worried about my sister getting sick but if she does she cant hang around my parents for a while

Ohh okay sorry to hear about that but man it is the time for people to stop being so comfortable being unhealthy. I am like 90% vegetarian. Slowly converting all my meats to mushrooms. My sister eats pretty much all organic and exercises regularly. Im just worried about her kids. She has a 4 year old and a like 8 month old. I am pretty sure she got it from her husband. He had multiple people with COVID at his work. I think he is asymptomatic and gave it to her.

You know he gets tested right. Aka absolutely pointless to wear one if you're confirmed clean. That's logic.

Considering the R0, no, it's not. Medical personnel who are geared up and trained to deal with infectious diseases are still getting this, he should be wearing a mask. False negatives exist, other illnesses that are not COVID but that could still fuck up a COVID patient exist.

Okay, so here's a mixed ray of something...
https://www.questdiagnostics.com/home/Covid-19/Patients/
Quest Diagnostics says you can order a test online, without a doctor's note, for either an active infection swab or an antibody test. So here's the rub. You had to have tested positive for COVID in order to get the antibody test. There's a little quiz thing before you pay for it.
Was I to understand that the point of the antibody test was to see if you had already contracted it and had just been asymptomatic?
The cost is $119 for the antibody test. I don't know the cost of the active infection test or if insurance covers either test.

I don’t think I’ve seen anyone mention this but has anyone been seeing what the talk is on nicotine and Coronavirus? I remember earlier they were saying vaping/smoking may increase your risk of getting the virus but it looks like that opinion is rapidly changing...

I'm 90% sure it's propaganda, as we see lots of it around coronavirus these days. Opinions change faster than studies get data.

Morrowasted explained it nicely here and more plainly said the nicotine was competing for the same ACE2 enzyme.
Glad I bought them Kools with my coronacash now!

It’s just a theory but I read something like tobacco smoke makes it harder to for the virus to latch on to the ace-2 receptors in your nose or something like that.

I'm not sure we know if smoking nicotine is enough though to impede on the virus' progression.

It seems to be gaining enough traction that France just suspended all online nicotine sales in order to have a sufficient stash on hand to use in a medicinal fashion. Weird thing is, the tests I’m seeing get lined up involve patches. I would think vaping would be a much better ROA, since it deals directly with the lungs/nose etc and is 97% less harmful than smoking actual tobacco according to the Royal College of Physicians.
I’m ripping through these articles at a pace I may be getting France wrong but I’m fairly sure it’s France that suspended online sales, in theory for that reason,,

Guys, I've gotten on a variation of the MARIK Critical Care COVID-19 prophylaxis regimen:
Quote:
Critical Care COVID-19 Management Protocol(updated 4-15-2020)
Prophylaxis
While there is very limited data (and none specific for COVID-19), the following “cocktail” may have a role in the prevention/mitigation of COVID-19 disease. While there is no high level evidence that this cocktail is effective; it is cheap, safe and widely available.
Vitamin C 500 mg BID Quercetin 250-500 mg BID Zinc 75-100 mg/day (acetate, gluconate or picolinate). Zinc lozenges are preferred. After 1-2 months, reduce the dose to 30-50 mg/day. Melatonin (slow release): Begin with 0.3mg and increase as tolerated to 1-2 mg at night Vitamin D3 1000-4000 u/day (optimal dose unknown).
Thats what's recommended, here's what I'm doing.
Whats different about me is that my body size is twice that of an ordinaryu adult and that a vitamin D deficiency was medically established in me by blood test.
Upon a foundation of a very good supplement I add the following Prophylactic variant:
Vitamin C 1000mg time released Quercetin 500mg (zinc cherlator/ionophor) Zinc gluconate containing 50mg Zinc Vitamin D3 5000 IU (recommended dose for morbidly obese) Melatonin Slow Release 3mg at bedtime
Since the supplements are readily available, cheap and nontoxic and actually benefit the body especially in my situation, I figured I might as well dig in. I took supplies for 500 days as I expect there to be a vaccin by then.
If you're going to get on the prophylactic regime as a normal adult, you might want to take a bit less Vit D and Melatonin
