New to the world of Fungi! 1

Hello everyone, I hope all is well. I am rather new to this world as of about 3 weeks ago. So far I am having a blast learning as much as possible. I do have a question and I was trying to ask it in another thread which had most of the answers to my questions.
I made a liquid culture 3 of them in fact one seemed to do well but then it got cold in the closet right after I inoculated the rye bag. not much is happening due to the temp. I ordered a heating pad for my little greenhouse. Question is once I get the temp right will the mycelium start back up or should I just toss everything and start over? I also have a liquid culture that has stalled hoping it will not be wasted due to the temp drop.

It's very hard to see if a LC has contaminants you won't know till it hits some grains and then you'll see it, might be the problem. Agar is better to start with, you get to see everything properly before it goes to grain/LC.
Pics would be a big help maybe nothings wrong just low temps slowing it down. Heat mats are not good will cause more issues in the long run.. The mycelium will be okay, too cold it will just be slow too hot and it will die. My very first tubs were fruited between 17-20c and they were great all be it abit slow.

Ok, thank you. I will try and get some pictures posted when I can. right now the rye just looks like a bag of rye nothing white or growing it's been about 8-10 days. I can see the spores in the jar but not much happening there only been 2 days. the syring I made up has been about 15 days and nothing has happened there at all, I'm thinking that was is a loss. room temp goes between 60-72f.
I will research more about Agar also.

Yeah, pics 8-10days is well enough time you should see the mycelium growing a fair ammount. Somethings a problem though no growth at all?
Spores to liquid culture is risky and will fail alot more than succeed as is putting spores to grains just as risky. The best place to use spores is on agar in a petri dish/jar.

I don't see any growth. I might just start over from scratch
