Habitat:
On the edge of a pile of bark and soil with some grass. wet conditions and trees around.

Gills:
Light brown

Stem:
Length 1-2inch. Solid and thin. White/dark grey.

Cap:
Diameter 1inch, caramel colour. Flat/umbonate. Lining around rim.

Spore print color:
Dark brown with a tinge of purple. Photos attached (sorry it’s on paper)

Bruising: blue

Looks like a Psilocybe to me, what region?

Psilocybe is right,  think its a sub but the first pic has a cap that looks like semilanceata to me but the other pics look like subs so that is most likely what it 8s, maybe inski or someone from down under will confirm species but genus is correct.

edit: that spore print looks black, is that correct or is it purplish?

The spore print definitely isn’t black. Its dark brown with a very slight hint of purple. It’s a bit messed up because I accidentally knocked it out of place.
