Hello, fellow shroomers.
Started these PES Amazonian on 4/1 in BRF cakes. Beautiful colonization, nice dense cakes that I crumbled into CVG monotubs  two weeks later on 4/15. I used one slightly larger (about 2 shoebox equivalent) with a clear snap lid and one regular shoebox that I will fit with another shoebox on top when I see pinning.
They had quick spread to colonize the entire substrate. I used one cake for the single box and two for the bigger box. Since then, it seems the mycelium growth has slowed and I’m afraid we may be doing something wrong, as I would think I would be seeing pins by now.
We live in the tropics and I have the boxes on the East side of our house inside (out of direct sunlight) by two windows that are always open. Our temps are around 70ish at night, 80-85 during the hottest part of the day (but that side is cool during the heat of the day), so I’m wondering how to get them jump started so they start pinning and don’t risk contams.
Thank you SO much for your help!!

The Coir looks dry, I would heavily mist it and let it set. Crumbled cakes can take longer to recover. Your colonization of the sub looks like it is still going. The lack of shrinking means that it is probably not ready to fruit yet, you just want to make sure that it doesn't dry out.

Thanks, Sock! Followed your advice and now have a 3” tall fruit! Hopefully, the others will follow suit!
