First Time Grow - Has it worked? 1

Hi, I'm looking for some advice please. My first time growing. Some Golden Teachers went big and opened while some where still pins. My questions are:
1. Is this brown/black on the caps and stems mould? (I've managed to wash it off) 2. Should I have picked them before the caps opened and does it effect them? 3. Should I leave the cakes with the pins in to carry on or dunk them?
I know I allowed too much moisture in the tent.
Thanks in advance!

Not mold but they look terrible. I remember kizzle posting something about a type of bacteria that can cause that wet look.
I couldn't say for sure.

You Are Fine.
they matured. dropped spores. and now youre rinsing them off and bruising the fuck outta them.
Pick as veil begins to break.
Dry these out and keep going. Do a dunk. Reintroduce to fruiting conditions. Keep going.

Don't rinse them anymore it's not good. Go straight to drying them. Also reintroduce to fruited condition you can get more out of your tub.
The black you saw on them is spores the caps drop the spores to re-produce. Perfectly normal. Also you can cut the cap off and put it on some tin-foil and catch those spore in order to grow them out into more mushrooms.

Did you rinse your shrooms with water? You do realize that psilocybin is water soluble right? You're washing away the active chemicals....

Not to hijack, but to add to what the OP posted, I had one cake, it was the very last of my 24 cakes to fruit its first flush, looked a lot like that pic. I just harvested it...lol like 3 minutes ago. Not that I'm in any position to give advice at this point on my journey, but if I were, I would say that this is probably a good reason to grow as much as possible at one time, so that is shit goes wrong with one or two of your cakes (or shoeboxes, or whatever) you hopefully have a lot of better parts of your crop to fall back on. Also, another comment from a guy who doesn't yet know his ass from a hole in the ground is that, while you may not see those shroom pics of yours featured in Better Shrooms & Gardens, The Harvard Shroom Review, or The New England Journal of Shroomery to make people salivate, if those shrooms you posted were in my batch, I would personally smile and eat them.
Well, okay, I would hedge my bet and dry them first, then mix them in with a bunch of other dried shrooms, powder them in a coffee grinder to make a homogenous mix of all the shroom-powder, then encapsulate them. Nah, you know what? I take that back. If I had no other shrooms and wanted to trip and you handed me, say 30 grams that looks like that, I'd eat 'em right there. You may not impress anyone with shroom-porn with those, but I say fucking ENJOY, and congrats on a crop! Oh, and PhotoL can you post more pics of your crop? I am new to this and love to see what other people are growing.
For lulz, here is my cake I havested minutes before reading this.

Pseudomonas Odors: Rot, Fruity Sources: Lime, Peat moss
Pseudomonas contains many bacteria which are harmless or even beneficial to the fruit bodies and small amounts are naturally present on the mushroom surface. Problems arise when water is in contact with the fruit body for prolonged periods of time, usually from condensation, misting, or soaking. Large amounts of the bacteria can produce enough enzymes to degrade the cell walls of the mushroom. Symptoms are often superficial with minor brown spotting that do not affect the taste, texture, or odor of the mushroom. If the wet conditions persist they can progress to larger brown slimy patches and grooves and can even lead to degradation of large parts of the cap.
Since the bacteria is naturally present, prevention depends on providing adequate air exchange to allow moisture droplets to evaporate quickly. Slimy pins should be removed, especially before misting since the splash can spread large amounts of the bacteria which accelerates the process on the other fruit bodies.
Known contaminant species include: P. tolaasii, primary agent of bacterial blotching
This is from kizzle contamination guide . It is sticked in the main cult at the top. Scroll down to see the pictures in the bacteria section. https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/23130868
