Would you give up all fun drugs in exchange for unlimited love? 2

Imagine you could get in a position where everybody loved you to an appreciable extent, and more than a few people very much so, but in exchange you could no longer get high on drugs.
Would you like that?

STAL -- does cannabis still have the pain killing aspect but it is no longer the case for me to experience psychoactive effects?

You won't get -high- but you will of course derive genuine authentic medicinal effect.
If you were to take opiates, you'd cease to feel pain but not get high on them, as an example.

This is a much harder question than the previous poll. I would not cos I dont need unlimited love. The normal possibilities of love are sufficient

Quote:
Personality allows your character:
To more easily obtain meaningful information from NPCs. To obtain better prices from merchants through haggling. To avoid combat more often. Fewer aggressive beings will attack you and more will accept yields.
Quote:
The primary advantage of high Personality is that it increases dispositions. However, several other methods, such as Charm spells, are also available for increasing dispositions, as detailed on the Disposition article; these other methods can often be more effective than moderate increases in Personality. Personality becomes more effective if you can achieve very high values. Increasing Personality past 100 (for example, with Fortify Personality) continues to improve your disposition scores for NPCs and Creatures. With a sufficiently high Personality, normally hostile beings (e.g. bandits, rats, dremora, etc.) will no longer attack you on sight, because their disposition is so high it counters their high aggressions. Your personality needs to be roughly 180 (depending upon Fame and other factors) for Animals to become non-aggressive; higher Personality is necessary for other enemies. Enemies may still attack your Followers.

I'm at this point where it is almost 6 months ago that I used a recreational drug. Before that, I was addicted to MXE. Before that, I was addicted to empathogens, before that, I was addicted to weed and smoked tobacco for more than 2 decades.
Psychedelics still hold some interest, but I keep postponing the date.
I'd love to get high on people more than get high on drugs, at this point.

Am a good 9 months out from so much as a mushroom trip but you are basically offering me my meds without the one thing that hits me as a negative side effect would be free to dose as high as necessary at any point without fear
tho, how far would this go in terms of what is and isn't recreational in terms of effect would mushies make my vision seem sharper but without the effect of 'melting' walls and objects?
would arguably want to go back and explore substances for what effects persisted as practical vs which were where recreational only almost like microdosing, but full size doses presumably without quite the knock me on my ass power?

Thing is, when you get older and you got your act amply together, you want to leave a better world for the new generations.
Its basic psychology.
I feel like I could be more meaningful for the wellbeing for the world if I had the wind of unlimited love in my back, to lend more strength to whatever I do in that regard.
If your charisma rises, your ability to do good rises.
I much rather through a better today work towards a better tomorrow for all, than journey inward and discover the secrets of the universe.
When you have a main line with what you feel is God, you don't have to become it all, if you need it, you can ask.
First half of my life was for learning, there drug explorations fitted in. Second half is putting those teachings into practice and passing on knowledge.

Unlimited love sounds phony
Love holds you accountable to be a better person. You fuck up too badly, you might lose it
You learn a lot about yourself by how you navigate the hate of others too

I've always been bad with people, but I've gotten better with time. If this trend continues I'll have people loving me all the time without a problem, until then there's drugs and therapy.
It makes me wonder if I'd become like a celebrity: a complete ass who's boring but everybody around them sings them praise because they're rich and famous.

I now tend to view love as something I give more than something I get.
(Although I realize often we think of love as incoming - we "want someone to love us")

No, for the simple reason that I'd never give up LSD (and mushrooms) for anything. Those two drugs I have an absolute loyalty to. I feel like loyalty is maybe the wrong word, but I'm not sure what the right one is. Devotion also doesn't seem quite right, but you get the idea. I'm a diehard true believer in those two drugs.

Depends on how much longer I got to live. If it's a week or less I take all the drugs. Otherwise it's the love. Life is worth living because of love.
Your love more than anyone's.
Loving drugs is fine but loving them to the point you choose them over other things in life is loving a fantasy.
