My original four have blossomed into sixty now. There are cold wet days coming up, there is hope that some more.
The little original patch of four gold dots now.

Then a quick shot of some more.

there's definitely a few still out there, but it is really slim pickings now.
does anyone know why some shrooms are a lot darker than others?

have seen a few really dark pins, that haven't really matured, and now some of them are actually maturing. is it too hot, too dry??

That dark shroom looks nice, never seen that before but I am a relative noob.... I had given up hope of finding anything more but your last post gave me the urge to have a quick check and there she was, a single solitary shroom.... looked lonely so I took her home and put her in a jar with some of her buddies. After drying i reckon would be lucky to be 0.01, now that is a WAH. Been pissing with rain all night and morning up here and a bit chilly over the last few days so I continue to live in hope, Rodger loves my WAHs and I wouldn't want to let him down.

I smoke lots of cannabis every day, can't seem to ever be able to kick the habit. At least it's not cigarettes though. Still bad for the lungs but what can we do.
I've said it before Rodger.... eat it if you want to give your lungs a break - high last way longer as well - you've said you're not keen on the vapes but I've heard good things about dynavape, could be a good middle ground for you. I have been a daily smoker for over 20 years - some breaks in there, usually when I've moved to a new country/area and don't have a contact. Switched to vape about 5 years ago now and though I admit it's not quite the same I find I get just as high off the same amount with the added bonus of making butter with the AVB. Combustion is a blunt tool and you are missing out on some of the compounds when you burn - at least thats what I've read (admittedly on sites which seem to be pro vaping so could be some bias there). One of the reasons I became interested in shrooms was to help me regulate my use of the devils lettuce. If I'm working full time I can usually control my use to maybe once or twice a day but when I have time on my hands things tend to spiral (lockdown). I've tripped 3 times since I started finding shrooms this season (had tripped before over the years but only with the intention of having fun) each time I spent some time thinking about my use and how I'd like to gain a little more self control (defiantly don't want to give up as I love it too much and don't see it as a bad thing, I was just using constantly). Anyway first time I continued smoking but lost interest in drinking, that was 2 + months ago and I've had a single drink on a couple of social occasions since then, but don't feel the urge to get a few beers friday arvo as I used to. (was never a big drinker and had no intention of stopping prior to trip). 2nd trip thought about it again but continued afterward. 3rd trip was 1 1/2 weeks ago and I haven't had a smoke since (okay one the next morning) I'm sure this idea tripping with intention is nothing new to you but I thought I'd share my experience. I'm going to have a month off which I've done many times before the difference being this time I have a few oz's in my garage, less than 2m from me right now, so rather than an enforced break I'm actually having to exercise self control.... Damn those first 4 days were a bitch but it's mostly psychological (apart from the sleep). Don't want to seem preachy or anything and frankly if you're not interested in quitting or cutting back then don't. As far as I'm concerned its only a problem if you want to quit but can't. By the by I had fairly small doses, 10g fresh then 2.25 dry and 1.5 dry respectively. Going to get out there in a few days to try and get myself another WAH which I will dedicate to you. If you're lucky I might include a photo of such poor quality that you'll barely be able to tell what it is of.

+1 on the dynavap. Properly used through a water pipe it hits as hard as a bong.
I am not sure if less is more with weed but more is definitely not more. A two day tolerance break does wonders.
The shrooms have really helped me grow as a person. I think being a bit older helps although they taught me a few things back in the 90s as well. Nothing like a bloody good think about things.
The other thing I did that really helped was go keto and start fasting. The willpower I gained through the fasting really helped me do everything else in life. Quitting drinking was trivial in comparison. The keto makes the fasting possible because you don't get as hungry and the fasting is where the weight loss and health really kicks in.

Well mine are starting to mature now. I notice there are some other mushrooms starting to come back as well from the cold wet weather we have had lately.
