Shot roger, yeah I'd never seen them like that, they tended to be clustered in groups of 3 or 4 too, is that more common in p. cyanescens?

In my experience. Yes. P. cyanescens have a very prominent wavy cap, even as pins.

I have found full clusters and fairy rings of the cyanescens phenotype, they seem to grow in full force from what I have seen. But this is subjective.

But many psilocybes can be either solitary to gregarious anyway. Perhaps the cyanescens phenotype leans more towards the gregarious side.

You would probably need a microscope to differentiate P. subaeruginosa and P. cyanescens specimens.

Whos to say that it aint just a wavy capped P. subaerginosa phenotype?
Perhaps they are both just "Section Cyanescens" and the maybe the spores of the upturned wavy caps look slightly different to the subaeruginosa spores so they get separated into two separate species? IDK I'm just making assumptions.

To me, P. allenii totally looks just like it could just be a P. subaeruginosa, but apparently there are slight macroscopic and microscopic differences.

If anything you can just sweep them all under the title "sect. Cyanesces" I'm not sure how common is it to find cyanescens or allenii vs subaeruginosa in NZ. I would say that the vast majority of the sect. Cyanescens finds in NZ would be subaeruginosa however.

IDK man they could be either cyanescens or subaeruginosa, a microscope would be needed.

Sounds interesting, I can use one of the microscopes at uni. Would it just be spores that I'd need to look at?

Can confirm: subs love strawberries.
Waikato region. Literally every square inch of the strawberry patch is pinning. I’ve been MDing fresh every day direct from the garden and harvested 400+gm total big flushes and yet they just keep on coming. Had sweet fuck all rain and warm days too so I can’t wait to see what happens when winter hits.

Something else to throw out there: for the past fortnight I’ve been MDing 1gm wet of under ripe fruit (pre veil-popping) expecting the same as when I MD 0.1gm dried mixed subs powder that I usually take. Nuh-uh... the potency of the little guys is not “sub-perceptual”.

I’ve read plenty of stories like “dude I tried a couple little ones and they knocked me on my ass”.
I might test this idea by taking 20-30gm wet of pins and little guys only, since I’ve got such a boon in the strawberries. I would love to hear y’all thoughts on this, especially if anyone has tried the same before.

For reference my normal psych dose for P. Subs is 4-5gm dry. And yes I know that there is a shroomery section dedicated to microdosing, but this query is not about MDing and they are not the shroomers that I pay attention to; you lot of fucked up retards are, however.

18 months ago we put down pony poo and mulch including some Manuka. I think it’s something to do with the stump that’s under the strawberry patch. Don’t know what the stump is/was though, before my time. Chur Chur

Evening all. I am taking a decent amount of spore prints onto paper. Does  anyone have suggestions as to the best way to spread these about the place for the betterment of everyone

Rub them all over woodchips. It works.
