Nahh. Just looks dodgier in my opinion. I'd rather harvest in broad daylight and act like I'm doing nothing wrong - people tend to believe it, I think.

This is my sunday morning haul. Fairly manky and I think a couple had been stooden on. I have confirmed ID via a ID thread but I am still new to this so let me know if anyone disagrees.
I am wondering if I have been leaving lots in the ground as I have been looking for visible blue. I think the blue only comes if the mushroom is damaged or really old so I just ended up picking only old mushrooms. Be keen on input into this.
I ate the first stem of a big one on saturday as a microdose. Turned out to be bigger than a microdose and I didn't get much done on saturday.

What a fucked up thing to say. Seems to me you need a high dose to straighten yourself out. Or maybe just stick to the beers, might be more on your "level". Come to think of it, I was in mangere the other day, saw a patch there, didn't take any though, just pissed all over it.

Yea sides of motorways around that part of Auckland are very good spots. A lot of people around there know this tho and most spots get raped fairly quickly

This was in a barked garden, under a tree, next to a fence. I parked my scooter on the path while I grabbed it and then got a grumpy look from a elderly person in a mobility scooter. Oh well.

I only started this last week but all I have found is mature subs. I am hoping we see another flush of growth before it's all over.

Revisited the Weraroa spot today and found these close by - even went back to the car to get my phone to take a habitat shot for y’all.

They where harder to see than in the pic, you would have to know what you’re looking for. The woodchip has a massive chunk which is hard packed together and these are growing out of the broken off end which is looser. If it is a hard packed brick held together by mycelium, with a bit of loosening it could explode - it’s way too tightly packed at the moment to produce I think. Cause yeh I know shit now. What a dumb cunt. Anyway enjoy.
Space X haha your accidental trip sounds funny, what did you get up too?

Nice work finding some mature subs around the place! It gives me hope to keep looking Am am quite sure we wont see any new flushes coming through in chc, it is too late in the season...
if we get some epic rain though? perhaps? who knows.

Doland is producing the goods, nice one man. What's the go with the potency of those suckers. The one we found went into honey with a bunch of subs, but I think any further finds are going to be stored separately.

If your going to pine forest, i expect you’ll be looking for P.aucklandii

Is that true for Christchurch or just the north island?
They don't call these auckland-iae for no reason...
And if you want my 2 cents. Don't even bother with forest hunting. Especially if you are a noob. Suburban council made woodchip gardens with flax bushes are a great place to check. Easy terrain. Easy bounty.

Imdeed. . . Aucklandii are a lot harder to find. . . Every fuckin leaf looks close. . .
Unless you are KFC, grats on the aucklandii. . .
