Put a quilt maple top on, added body, fretboard, and headstock binding, put new inlays in, all kinds of shit. I pull it out once every couple years and do a little work to it. Its an ongoing project lol.
Ive also got a Gibson Les Paul Traditional, a Gibson SG Future Tribute, and a Charvel San Dimas Pro Mod I play on when I get the chance.
thats pretty sweet dude. did you have any formal training or kind of taught yourself along the way? either way, badass! got any pics of those beauties?

Just taught myself. I just always liked working on guitars. Bought a bunch of tools from Stew Mac to do set ups and fret work and nuts and shit. Used to have advertise on craigslist for set up and fret work, and was getting a little money doing that as a little side hustle lol.
Of course theres pics lol. I love my guitars. I have pics of almost every guitar Ive owned over the years, which is probably around 20ish. I just last year sold off half of the collection I had. My Schecter Platinum C1 FR, Ibanez AM73 335 style, LTD EC-1000, and my Fender American Standard Strat from 98. Ill have to snap some of the work in progress Ibanez tomorrow, dont have any of those on hand.

You could probably do it somehow. Dry it and encase it in epoxy resin or something. It would probably sound like shit though lol. Mycelium would dampen the vibrations heavily I would think. But it doesnt stop people from making guitars out of weird stuff. Ive seen some made from colored pencils, acrylic, Legos, old electronics, cardboard, and even ramen noodles and tortilla chips lol.
