I’ve used an old spore syringe to suck up lc before no problem.
I shook it a lot and broke the myc up really well though.

Yeah it'll usually work I grow my LC on magnetic stir plates, so it doesn't grow those big blobs anyways

Some people wipe the bag with ISO and inject right thru it into the bag and cover the spot up with tape, mircopore or whatever.
I don't really like that idea though, I think it's better to pour it in the top or squirt it in with a syringe and seal up.
I'd rather do this shit, but I'm too sketched to have any air flowing in/out of the bag without the flowhood. And it's basically bound to happen if you're opening it. I don't see poking the needle in as that much of an issue, since it's flamed just before inoculating. Just got to be careful not to melt too much of a bag with it.

The issue is that iso only sanatizes. Therefore, the spot you choose to push the needle through May indeed have a living nasty on it. Pushing that through and into the bag equals a failed bag. You can certainly do it with success but there is no garuntee.

Yeah, I remember seeing vids and posts from people who flame sterilised a needle and then wiped it with an alcohol wipe. WTF?!?!

What I'm saying is that anything that could go inside will be in contact with burning red needle.

I see. Interesting. Still not 100% safe but could definitely work. I've poked needles through bags successfully before.
