Meditation is key for survival. It is not survival the fittest that is jungle concept. Meditation is about trying new things all the time. You do not need to shut your eyes closed in order to meditate in fact better to leave the open. Try the reiki music cho ku rei it breaks boundaries and melts them like ice Cho Ku Rei is the most powerful reiki meditation music. It dissolves tension in the causal plane. Your body is made out of atoms cells and organs. Finding a comfortable breathing pattern that fits you at the particular moment is sacred. Your breathing rhythm tells a lot about how you feel most of your day. I am a great meditator you should join the cause. Meditate at least 10 times a day not with eyes shut but opened. Cho ku rei is reiki meditation music it is really valuable for dissolving and breaking tension blocks within the spiritual center. Your spirit is a part of you. It is the flame of constant breeding feeding to the soul adding more and more white energy into the white ball called your soul!! Your soul is invincible it does not fret. It cant be destroyed it is white twisted colorful dna being expressed from tension from each stand and bypartisen attachment. Meditation gives you answers to life. It gives you everything you need within that present moment.

Very tool for ascending ones consciousness into higher vibrational frequencies. Cho ku Rei is symboled as a spiral. It looks kind of like a music note. Not sure what note. But the note it plays dissolves and breaks blockages within the causal layers of the human soul. The soul has what you call road blocks that need to get broken before you can ascend. Valuable information I am giving you right now. Absolutely 100% sacred. Arguments cause blockages and misfirings for the souls spirit production. One heart one mind mean just that. Oneness creaming up to the top to later get dissolved and reflected. Oneness on top of Oneness on top of oneness makes you whole. Wholeness means action a divine sort of higher light. You can image gold light descending upon you from the highest heavens. Heaven is not physical Heaven has no time or space. In heaven it is inner no physical place. Heaven is closing your eyes and reflecting the mind the mysteries are complex and they are divine.

You are a divine being of light there I said it. Life is good to not take it for granted. Please yourself and please your soul. The most high is above it knows not control. Adhering the principles is divine takes a couple seconds just take your time. Life is good strong as wood. I love life and its potential to manifest the imaginative complex dualities into merging into one hidden talent. That is cool. You understand what I’m saying Im not a fool! Tools of the mind are completely used Focus is everything make no excuse. Don’t be rude treat others with respect keep your eyes open and your consciousness in check. Have no fear about what you can do with your energetic body. The energetic body does not ever run out of energy it can be low but when chakras reopen from direct experience the energy body knows what action to adhere to in order to restore balance into each chakra. Colors are examples and siphon energy into the chakras.. just being alive is enough don’t act tough always remain humble. Don’t lose control do not even stumble.

What else is there to say today either way meditation is like getting a fat paycheck in the mail. It is completely addictive not a sickness. State affirmations in your thoughts tell yourself something unique that you want to apply to your mind. You can meditate on anything you want just take your time.. when you run out of options take a few deep breathes I teach you how to meditate do not be stressed! Meditation gives you answers to all life questions... you want the answers don’t you!! It is inside you it does not come from the exterior although the exterior does that too but the tricky part to realize is you pull the exterior into you. Inside your body your body is the house of your soul. Cho ku rei!! Cho ku rei!! Cho ku rei!! Cho ku reii!! It is a protection mantra. It protects you from malicious energies. Cho ku rei!! Cho ku rei!! Is a power chant. Watch how the blockages break and the endorphins and feel good chemicals immerse itself into your being and aura.. the aura is outside of you body. But stimulate from inside your body.

Words are wisdom. Wisdom holds true. Having wisdom is better than intelligence. Intelligence is the fodder for Wisdom it adds to the impenetrable force I do want to add whatever people say to you needed to be said in that present condition. Conditions are apparent and spawn from traditional behavior patterns your community adheres to. Life is beautiful learn how to do. You can close your eyes when you ready allow them to reopen frequently. When you use your desire as your power and drop heavy related discipline strategies. You free up the mind into higher reflections of thought. Everyone got something to add to the drama it’s okay. Life is a drama too that’s okay!!

Meditation is not about just breathing focusing on the breathe should be your last resort!! It is about one directional one pointed focus. Like you can focus your shoulder the sensations itches the feelings you receive from aiming your awareness on the body legs feet torso upper abdominal muscles any discomforts itches you need to scratch and so on. Attend to your sensory perception meditation is about the focus on the senses in that particular moment rather than the breathe. The breathe comes in handy when it time to focus on it but different moments cause for different measures and sometime breathe is in the background impossible to focus on.

Deep information right here listen up. Abandon discipline follow desire. Desire = Higher Power in motion your only real strength motivation too who do you thank. The road can get challenging tell yourself it is impossible to do wrong. There is no wrong moment do not get it confused you cannot make mistakes when it comes to meditation. What comes up is necessary and needs to be felt. Meditation bout feeling and stretching the awareness. Take one deep breathe then abandon awareness.. be conscious of where you dwell and what you experience. Experience is golden. Experience is all of a total sum in the right moment. Anyway.

What else!! This is getting extremely advanced. It is quite confusing. Meditation 102 listen with thy heart chakra!! The spiritual heart is not Anahatta Heart Chakra! It is beyond! You will know what it is when you listen to this, imagine your heart spiritually big. Open your heart as big as you can let love and light enter do you understand? This is cool i trust in divine divine timing is prime it is not out of line.

Meditation 103 dissolving ego in lower abdomen. Focus in on the pillow cushion of the ego. It is no longer violent it is pillow in your lower abdomen. Push down on lower abdomen with hand. Find the right breathing pattern. This one is about having a pillow fight with the ego. A pillow war. Imagine cotton balls with rubbing alcohol healing the cuts scrapes and bruises. Imagine a white ball descending down from the creator. The divine creator electric shocks and sends electromagnetic frequencies to the healing ego dissolving dissolving into pure white whip cream.

I'm looking for a form of meditation to practice daily and I would welcome all suggestions, especially from experienced practitioners. So far I am only using what is available on youtube in the form of guided audios and also something called Isha Kriya but I want something deeper and I would love some guidance at this point. Thank you all.

No problem heres one you can do anytime you wish... while waiting for the bus sit on the cement cross legged. Stretch around your arms, butt, twist around and stretch.then do 5-7 deep breaths starting very slowly... increase speed an twist your spine... stretch out your spine and twist. Take 4 more deep breathes... slowly.... then increase speed over time... ask yourself what do you want to obtain from meditation.... what is your goal.. twist the spine again.. release the tension from your spine clear out the knots... and blockages... Chant Yam outloud! Then in your head... Be patient with yourself. Notice the dark spaces withing your mind and brain... slowly breathe into the darkness... the energetic holes... twist repeat.... :smile:... Make up your own mantra or chant... do it in your mind not outloud... if you want a personal lesson by me send me a message into my inbox :smile:

Well... everybody got their own main focal points.. i personally dont have the ability to focus on nose and nostrils... but... if you do thats fine too... Everybody got different main focal points mind goes back too... whatever your drifted too by your focus... Focus on where your attention naturally goes...

I tend to mostly focus on lower stomach inflate it... what i know is always follow your responsible path your focus drifts too. Just let go you don’t have to do anything in particular.. but breathe... and shift around different focal points... let go let go let go....

Try this hold one nostril close breathe in through only one nostril... blow out same nostril.. shift to other nostril breathe in through nose... and on the exhale return to the same norstril in beginning repeat and just feel around whats most comfortable pattern try switching the pattern around it clears out the nose of blocked muchus and feels amazingly.. good.. it is even more affective for nostril breathers who only can focus on nostrils...

Most important advice anyone can give you on meditation is learn how to accept change. Learn acceptance... the body will move body rhythms.. learn how to accept whatever occurs calling it natural... gotta accept the changing body breathing patterns and body positions... like...my awareness shifts tons of different places when doing breathing exercises and closed eye meditations.. constantly switching positions in body... thing about nostril breathers their body does not shift attention to other spots just kinda attention stays on the nostrils only... i would try learning about the chakras and shifting your attention in different places around the body other than nostrils... if you cant do this listen to chakra meditations... learn where these chakras are in your body and follow the chakra guided meditations or sounds or frequencies like solfeggio frenquencies learn about hypnosis... hypnosis is basically meditation but puts you in an extreme trance... Michael sealsey... The Honest Guys... Uh Jason Stephenson... Trigram healing.... One of the best out there for hypnosisds.. Look around... Do guided meditations more to learn how to get going and develop a meditation loop with your favorite guided meditations look around youtube. Always recharge the chakras up for extra meditation energy type in Chakra Meditations on youtube... learn mantras... read the description... they get you going...

Besides shamatha, peaceful abiding, with the attention on the breath, in and out here we are, what other techniques are there and why are they attractive?  I know there is insight (vipassana) but have never been.  Any pointers in this regard?

As parts, aggregates of, or states, precursors, techniques, teachings, and meditations etc -  for those interested in *Buddhism -
* although most of the post is perennial in all Buddhist traditions/vehicles-  for the sake of coherency, clear cut terms, & appropriately time tested instruction I will mostly defer to the Theravāda tradition and/or classiclly-traditional Canon.

Anapansati, or - the meditation on in - and - out breathing, the first subject of meditation taught by the Buddha, and which the gate less gateway to awakening, used by the Buddha(s) and the community of practitioners & monks as an essential.

If you are interested in learning & practicing this meditation, there is some basic essential reading to do (unless you’ve been taught by someone who already has learned in accord with the Anapanasati Sūtra.

The preliminary stages to this practice of meditation are taught via The 8 steps & the 7 stages of purification.  Otherwise, one may find themselves practicing akin to a ship out at sea with no captain and no compass....drifting aimlessly & ambiguously as if asleep at the wheel, dreaming up all kinds of things in delusive like ignorance.

It is in the teachings of the foundations of mindfulness, in the/called the Satipatthana Sutta: In the 10th discourse.
