Is the Laccaria the one on the far right? I need to familiarize myself with Laccaria.
Cool thread name BTW OP

Thanks, do you know what type of Inocybe and whether it has psilocybin properties? The last few days I've found quite a few Panaeolus foenisecii and Amnatia Muscaria but I'll leave them in the ground for aesthetic pleasure

Inactive and probably poisonous
Keep at it man. NZ has Subs, Weraroa, Angulospora, Libs, so you just gotta know what your looking for, generally what it looks like, look for it, bring back photos of it here and we'll do the rest.
BTW where you looking in a pine plantation? If not what habitat did you find them in?

Cool thanks for the heads up.
I found most of the Inocybe in woodland beside a river with pine trees close by. Was hoping they were wavy caps in early stage. Found a lot of Amnatia Muscaria there too and found mowers mushrooms in a nearby paddock that had cattle grazing on recently. There are a lot of Pine trees which have been cut down so was searching around there too in the mulch and sawdust. I reckon another week or two and there'll be plenty more species popping up. Will go hunting tomorrow and take some more photos.
