Are rye berries better than h poo for fruiting?

Hi all. Just read the article below which surprised me. I thought horse/cow manure was best for cubes however this article indicates that except for contamination rye berries and similar are far more nutritious? Says that manure is "medium" nutritious! Is this correct all the way through to fruiting? Do you get more fruits or faster fruiting on rye berries and similar (if kept sterile)?

Rye, Oats, Wild Bird Seed, and Wheat have been good spawn grains. I have yet to use Hpoo however I get good harvests and high potency with just grain. I have read that people use hpoo for just a casing. https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/26503618

Poo is for bulk.
You must start with colonized grains first.

Thanks mushead, I'll check out the link.
The Mycologist I have been colonizing millet/wbs first then mixing with cow poo in layers. Just wondering if better results would be found using all rye. Eg instead of say 1 qrt berries to 1-2 quarts of sub - instead 3 quarts of straight berries.
Wondering if the claim made in the link I posted that berries are much more nutritious for mushrooms is true?

Np. Welcome to the Shroomery.
That link will really explain the whole indoor cultivation methodology, everything you would ever need to know to grow lbs and lbs of mushrooms without even deviating or experimenting yourself. It’s the best thing to read right off if you’ve never grown
