So i doubt this because i know lots of people have grows in closets. But, i have a small room maybe 12 by 10 feet, i have maybe 3 mono tubs and 4 or 5 shoe boxes going, as well as a oyster bucket colonizing. In anyones experience does the rooms air go stale? the door is closed and it is heated by an oil heater, I just notice it seems like they need more fae and when i produce that by removing the single layer of micropore tape i have it completely drys my sub out. Even with regular misting. Is it possible its becoming co2 rich in the room itself? would a timed fan help move air every once in a while? (leaving a fan on in the room all day drys the subs in the tubs out supremely fast)

Personally, I set up ventilation in my grow room. Fan feeds in fresh air for 15 minutes every two hours. That way the CO2 doesn't get too high but also I don't have the humidifier and heater running as much as if I did it constantly.

If the room is actually completely sealed up (like no cracks under doors or windows), ya... you can have some CO2 build-up, but it wouldn't be a crazy amount or anything. If you cracked a window 1" or opened the door for a bit, that would be enough to let some oxygen in. Remember, mycelium consumes oxygen and gives off CO2, so if you are totally sealed up, given enough time, ya... CO2 levels will go up.
That being said, you as a human basically turns 400 ppm CO2 air into 50,000 ppm just by exhaling.
You can see an example of how quickly CO2 ppm can change. This is a CO2 chart for the last 24 hours. The spike at 10pm last night was when a human was added to the area to mist (notice the humidity also spiked at the same time).

Long story short, crack a window or door once in awhile... it definitely won't hurt.
