Hello all, this is my first post here but I have used this site several times to get some quick answers so I figured may as well make an account. I recently moved to Southern California the ventura area and I have found a couple of mushies that I believe I'm looking for I need help identifying and also if anyone knows the types that are in this area. I came from Oklahoma where they were very easy to get and they help me quite alot with my PTSD symptoms.

1: hard to tell from that one photo. Do you have photos of the gills? Some description would be helpful as well, but I don't think it's an active species in any case. 2: parasola sp.

Either way I appreciate it, its fun mushroom hunting and learning about the different types even if I can't use them.

More photos and better descriptions are usually necessary for a proper id. I'd like to say it's a mycena, but it's guesswork at best.
