That's just a disaster waiting to happen bud. You'll get more contaminants then you can deal with. I'm sure some idiot somewhere tried this because of sheer laziness, but it's a reciepe to fail. Take the time and foresite to do the job right, in the end you'll have alot more success then trying to cut corners.

yes ive innoculated unsterile jars but i used spores i could waste (panaeolus foenisecii)...

i got at least 5 different contaminations in each jar...

waste of ur time, if u dont have a pc search the forums for some steam teks im sure theres some as long as ur not using WBS...

If it was possable to innoculate unsteralized jars with any success,do you really think anyone would bother steralizing?
No it wont work,maybe and thats a very  very slim maybe you might have 1 jar out of a dozen that works,but thats even doubtfull.


I wish you could just toss some substrate in a jar and innoculate,but unfortunatly it isnt that simple. :frown:
